Went to Fire Bowl for lunch today. They have several gluten free options clearly marked on their menu which is super helpful for people with gluten sensitivities. Been here before. The food is consistently good and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that Fire Bowl used to provide a lot more veggies in their bowls back in the day. Of course, since food prices have gone up, they are not the only restaurant doing this, but it still sucks for long-time regulars. The restaurant is always clean, and the atmosphere is simple but chill—think corporate meets Zen. I'm actually taking the time to write the review today because one of their staff who took our order, Devon, gave us some of the best customer service that I've had in a restaurant food industry in a long time. Devon was friendly and courteous in a completely genuine sort of way, and when I had a question about the menu, he was prompt and thorough in finding the answers we needed. Later, when I returned to the counter to ask for some condiments, he was once again prov assistance with a huge smile. So, thanks, Devon! It was a much nicer lunch because you cared enough to provide exemplary customer service. Your attitude is an asset to your team....
Read moreFirst time getting Fire Bowl Cafe, ordered veggie rolls, a Thai summer roll and Drunken noodle to go. Not my typical choice but it’s close to my work and I wanted something quick and nearby.
Veggie rolls were ok (hard to mess up) and went to take a bit out of the spring roll. After the first bite I looked and saw a live bug crawling in the to go container where my spring roll was. I wasn’t sure if it came from inside the roll or was crawling around it. Safe to say I didn’t touch the rest of it after that.
I wasn’t looking forward to the Drunken noodle after that but decided to give it a shot since I was hungry. I’ve had enough Thai food to know what Drunken noodle should taste like and the after the first bite I knew something was off. Almost like they left out the red chili and decided their own take on the sauce and it just doesn’t work.
Plenty of better options in the area if you’re looking for good Thai or good Asian food in general, don’t waste your time and money like I did.
1/10 don’t recommend and probably won’t be back, giving service 3 stars since the food was ready on time and the cashier gave me a free drink when picking...
Read moreWould not come back. Came in with a group. My order was given to someone else, and I was made to wait to receive my order a long time. My whole group was nearly done eating by the time my food was brought. Another friend accompanying the group also didn't receive their food till much later, when the server brought the food she dropped it and they had to remake his food over again, making the wait even longer. When I finally received my food It was incomplete, they had still not even brought me my appetizer. They instead kept pushing orders out for others guests, instead of prioritizing an order that was delayed because of a mistake on their end. My lunch time was practically over, all waiting for them to fix the multiple mistakes. There needs to be better organization here, some better customer service! Although the server was apologetic, this does not change the inconvenience that this was for not only me, but my coworker as well. More could have been done to correct this bad service & experience overall. First...
