What a cute coffee shop! Located inside yoga studio (Yoga retreat) and opened for about a year this coffee serves some majorly great coffee. My husband who is a coffee snob loved his pour over Ethiopian coffee (for the real coffee extraordinaire they use a V60 for it - don't ask me what that means). They have different pour overs from different countries and some fermented beans whatever that means. I got the horchata latte decaf and that was delicious and thankfully to me not as sweet as an horchata so I really enjoyed it - a little horchata but not overly sweet and the espresso helps cut through it. And thankfully was non dairy which I appreciate. The barista was super nice and I saw him greeting everyone and having convos with people that came in.

The seating area is tiny (maybe 12 people could sit at most?) but has very comfy chairs and great spot to catch up with a close friend or maybe even a first date you're not sure about. There are about 6 seats with a high long table if you need a table to study. They do have WiFi. Also the shop smells amazing - I think because it's tied to yoga studio but it smells like nature and very zen.

Parking is free with it being located in a strip mall so plenty of parking all around.

Food wise they offer pastries from La Patisserie they get each morning - we got the cronut which was good. They also have tacos from El Dorado but do sell out. They also have a small grab and go fridge with apples, Chobani Greek yogurt...

The only reason I gave it two stars was because the barista was a nice guy. Although he doesn't know how to make a golden milk........ I felt like my mouth was on fire..... it was pepper with a little turmeric.

This was my first time and my last. I walked in and I had no clue where I needed to go to even order coffee. It's very unclear. So I went to a desk and the lady said I needed to go over to the right part of the room. Then when I went over there there's no menu that I could see so I couldn't decide what I wanted while I waited for other people to get their coffee made. Then after a guy moved that was waiting for his coffee I noticed the menu on the wall. I have no idea why they would put one small menu on the side where no one can see it if someone standing there. So then when it was my turn I ordered and asked if they had soy milk. It sounds like they only have oat milk as an alternative to dairy. After he made my golden milk, I asked if they had stevia. Which they do not. They only have sugar behind the counter that they can pump in. Then I got my drink and it I had so much pepper in it it was very unpleasant. I won't be going here again and I highly suggest they market their front area...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming little coffee shop that left me completely enamored. From the moment I stepped through the door, the cozy atmosphere and inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped me in a warm embrace. Flora truly knows how to create a perfect ambiance for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

What truly set Flora Coffee & Culture apart was the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff. They made me feel like a valued guest, going above and beyond to ensure that my visit was nothing short of extraordinary. Whether it was recommending their favorite blend or engaging in friendly conversation, their genuine passion for coffee and customer service was truly inspiring.

Overall, my experience at Flora Coffee & Culture was nothing short of amazing. It's a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get. If you're looking for a place to unwind, savor exceptional coffee, and indulge in delightful treats, I highly recommend paying a visit to this delightful coffee shop. Trust me, you won't be...

New coffee shop alert ! Honestly, it is an amazing coffee shop and a great environment to relax in. The owner, Josh, is amazing , super creative, and friendly. Come out and support your local coffee shop!

They share their space and identity with a yoga studio, and that’s important to know upfront. It’s not just two businesses coexisting - they’re part of the same operation, and some of the reviews you’ll find reflect the yoga experience. This can be confusing for anyone expecting a dedicated café experience. We arrived based on high ratings, thinking it was a standalone coffee shop, only to discover that it’s primarily a yoga space with a coffee component. The café itself is pleasant, with good coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. There’s calming music, some seating, and a focus on a mindful vibe that aligns with the wellness theme. But as a coffee destination, there’s nothing particularly outstanding here - just pretty good coffee. Flora still earns 5 stars for quality and ambiance. But if you’re mapping out coffee spots to explore in Austin, this likely isn’t a place you’d want to prioritize. It’s more of a serene corner to enjoy a drink if you’re nearby, but not a coffee shop in the fuller, standalone sense.
