A Vegetarian’s Paradise!
If you’re a vegetarian, this place is an absolute gem! I’ve been visiting at least twice a month, and every time the experience just gets better. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and bursting with creativity.
One standout dish that I can’t recommend enough is the Rasamali Cake– it's a delightful twist on the classic Rasgulla, soft, aromatic, and absolutely delicious! Another favorite of mine is the Soya Chap, tender and packed with spices, perfect for anyone craving a hearty, meat-free alternative.
If you're into fusion food, the Fusion Wrap is a must-try – it’s the perfect blend of classic vegetarian ingredients wrapped up in a delicious, inventive way. And let’s not forget the Angoori Malai Kofta Dal Tadka – rich, creamy, and full of flavors that hit all the right notes.
Honestly, if you’re vegetarian, this is hands down the best place you could visit. There’s so much variety on the menu, and everything is made with care and attention to detail. Whether you’re here for a casual meal or a special outing, it’s the perfect spot for vegetarians. Don’t miss out on this...
Read moreWe went here for dinner tonight. Here’s what we ordered- Samosa Chaat - 9/10 - tastes like authentic North Indian samosa. The samosas were hot, and had the right amount of sauces The Tandoori Masala Chaap - 10/10 - I would go back to this restaurant just for the chaap. Tasted awesome, well cooked with right amount of spices Mango lassi - fresh and good. Didn’t feel like it was an Indian grocery store lassi. We feel it was made fresh at the restaurant - 10/10 Garlic Naan/Lacha paratha - both were good - 9/10 Paneer Lababdar- 8/10 - 2 less because it was less spicy to my taste. It had a tad too much sweetness Diwani Handi - spinach based vegetable gravy. - 8/10 - again because of the sweetness. But it’s a must have at this restaurant. The curries come with small bowls of white rice.
Overall, great dining experience with good music and nice ambience. Highly recommend - especially if you are looking for pure vegetarian North Indian...
Read moreWe had heard great things about the Fusion Tadka Thali and decided to check out the spot. Unfortunately, the thali is only available on weekdays, but the staff recommended some of their popular items.
We tried the Tandoori Sizzler (~$18), which was a letdown—it lacked the expected flavor and punch. The Veg Dum Biryani felt more like a pulao and missed the rich spices typically associated with a good biryani.
On the brighter side, the Jaljeera was refreshing and spot on, and the Mango Lassi was decent. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Bread Basket—some of the softest roti and naan I’ve had in Austin. Super fresh and pillowy!
The Paneer Lababdar was good—creamy and flavorful, though not exceptional. Ambience-wise, the place has a nice vibe and is clean and welcoming.
Overall, I may return to try the weekday thali that everyone raves about. For now, I’d say the place is good but didn’t quite live up to the hype—except for those...
