Super Burrito at The Water Tank — Restaurant in Austin

If there was zero star I would rate zero. Be careful with the queso, I just bought my food and a queso and chips and when I opened the bag the queso literally exploded. They must have left the queso in my microwave for too long. My right leg and hands were all burn, my car was a mess and the guy inside the trailer told me this never happened before and I was at fault because I did not know how to handle the food. Asked to speak with the owner, he refused to talk to me over the phone and said was too far away to stop by as well. I returned everything and left in pain and humiliated. Never felt so unimportant as a customer in my life. Beware, those people do not care and will do nothing for their customers. Too bad because their food is actually good but I will never again give them...

Normally, the food is on point, always SO hot even. Their pollo asada is great! However, today, I got an AM burrito with double bacon instead of sausage. Brought it home, not only was there no bacon, but there was no cheese, and nothing had been seasoned. My husband went back and told them about what had happened, they didn’t believe him, but made another burrito regardless. When we got the replacement burrito, there was a small sprinkle of bacon bits, and no cheese, and no seasoning. Just bland eggs and microwaved French fries. I’m really sad because I have been craving this all week and it’s not at all what I wanted or what I ordered. Maybe they got a new chef? Not sure. But hopefully they step it back up...

2nd time at this food truck. Both times have been disappointing. For being California inspired “Cali-Mex” food, it doesn’t resemble anything close to California Mexican food. 1st time ordered the California Burrito - very subpar compared to California burritos in so cal. Just recently ordered the pollo asada burrito. It tasted like a wrap with cheap mission tortilla and chicken breast meat with chopped head of lettuce with a ranch mayo as dressing. The chicken didn’t have that grilled char that you find with most pollo asada meat. Hot sauce was not spicy, just had that cheap knockoff store bought taste. $10+ tax for each burrito.
