Guatemalan food Rinconcito Chapin — Restaurant in Austin

Food is okay but service is very bad. Owners and staff are rude and ignore the customers and served us like we were asking for free food. My family and drive for almost 2 hours only to receive very bad service. One of the owners or business partner who I believe her name is Amanda ( short, overweight, dark skin) is also a waiter and she is always in a bad mood and she has very BAD attitude and manners - definitely don’t go there if you don’t want to have a bad experience- I rather go now to Houston TX and receive better service. Had an amazing meal at Rinconcito Chapin! I ordered the chile rellenos, and wow—everything was packed with so much flavor. But the real star? The tortillas. So fresh, so fluffy, absolutely perfect.

Loved that they also have a little panadería and a nice selection of postres. Plus, the little gift shop section is a cool touch—lots of fun Guatemalan goodies to check out. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re craving authentic Guatemalan food!
