This WHAT A BURGLAR STOLE every last shred of GOOD WILL that had been earned over a lifetime of being a customer in numerous locations across the USA, replacing it with SNOTTY, FOUL SMELLING CONTEMPT.
Of course I already knew the coffee would be LOUSY but I had no idea what I was in for when I arrived at 2:30 AM on June 6th.
I have been to more What a burgers than I can possibly count and I have never asked for any deals, nor would I, however NOT EVEN ONCE in the last 3 years have I EVER been charged for COFFEE. I know it's FREE for SENIORS but I don't ask for special treatment... EVER.
So, as always I had the money in my hand as I got to the register and when Jasmine charged me I didn't question it or show how shocked I WAS, seeing as how that never happens.
Stephanie, the TYRANT/DICTATOR that only an OSTRICH with it's HEAD BURIED deep in the DIRT could mistake for MANAGEMENT MATERIAL looked up, with a EXASPERATED SMIRK and BARKED that COFFEE would need to be made.
Already I could tell that it was to much TROUBLE for her TASTE.
Then whoever made the COLORED WATER must of been counting GRAINS of GROUNDS 1 by 1 as the bottom of the cup was visible, even while full of what was supposed to be LOUSY coffee but instead was just NASTY.
But I didn't get the CUP o' Whata NASTY for at least ten minutes due to Stephanie M, shouting orders, while pointing and walking around like the WICKED WITCH of the WEST with her NOSE pointed HIGH in the AIR!
Stock the condiments, the bathroom needed paper towels, clean the lobby, Stephanie DEMANDED. Do anything but poor the COFFEE was OBVIOUSLY her INTENT.
She never hid her DISDAIN for a MOMENT.
Then I sat in the booth by the door and stuff kept blowing out of the air vent but I didn't complain.
It was raining and I just wanted to kill 3 hours until Starbucks opened and I could get a REAL CUP of COFFEE, with a SMILE.
APPARENTLY that's WAY to MUCH to HOPE for with STEPHANIE PROJECTING HATE.
I sat there till 4:45 sip after sip listening to Stephanie complain about everything under the sun, from the 'IGNORANT CUSTOMERS" ( those were her words) who couldn't seem to FOLLOW her EVERY desire to the CONSTANT COMMANDS COMING out of her MOUTH directed towards the employees she treats like SLAVES, especially JASMINE and it might be a RACE thing.
Now the whole time I was there I never said a word to anyone until another customer suprised me and bought a #20.
I didn't ask for it or anything he just did it but I had money I was a paying customer and I hadn't even got a refill.
I was just counting the minutes till Starbucks opened and I would go somewhere that valued quality product and SERVICE.
So when STEPHANIE brought the food out in a to go bag and told me to "eat up and leave" I knew I would NEVER EVER SUFFER through another NASTY cup of COFFEE again.
I decided to leave imediately but that wasn't good enough she wanted to double down and tell me "she was following company policy"
Ummmmm that's non sense. I've never been asked to leave ANYWHERE in my WHOLE LIFE.
If it was such a big deal I would of payed for another cup of NASTY COFFEE but NO I had to "eat up and leave"
As if I did something wrong by spending money in your store.
If that's your policy then you have major problems but the TRUTH is that I've never had a issue at any other store it's just STEPHANIE
STEPHANIE is the PROBLEM!!!
Now as for the Whataburger (owner) Don't even THINK about sending me one of your TONE DEAF, PRE-PACKAGED, COPY and PASTE one size fits all FORM LETTERS that you so INCONSIDERATELY responded to so many others that took their time to ARTICULATE the EXPERIENCE they had only to be MARGINALIZED by your LAZINESS and UTTER INCOMPETENCE.
No matter what someone says you THANK them for their LOYALTY. Have you bumped your head??
You continuesly ADDRESS PEOPLE by their FIRST NAMES. Did your MAMA TEACH you any MANNERS.

Read moreWell, I didn't get to eat here because I ended up LEAVING. Completely rude Supervisor/Opening Manager Ronnie (female, apparently) really doesn't know how customer service works - I ended up leaving and calling and talking to another manager (so I think Ronnie is just a supervisor or shift lead) and then I called and spoke with the Regional Manager. So....here's what happened --- It was around 6am or so, and raining. I was the only person in the drivethru - I stopped at the speaker but it was raining and they have no overhead owning so I drove to the window. Here, I was ignored by the employee bagging up drink trays at the front counter even though she saw me, and then ignored by her again after I knocked on the window. Then "Ronnie" came to the window, Reluctantly opened it with a look of complete disapproval and said "Yeah?" kinda rudely. Then I politely plead my case - saying that it was raining and I didn't want to get all rainied on so I was hoping they could take my order at the window. Ronnie then had to have some power trip I guess and was really nasty to me when she said "Well, I'll serve you this time because you're the only one in the drive thru." But her tone and the look on her face were completely disprespectful - everything about that interaction was. I said "The hospitality here sucks and I will be talking to the manager!" She said "Yep." and I drove off. Then I had calls to make and this review to write. The regional manger told me she was spoken to about this, and apologized that he would be losing me as a customer, because I told him - as long as this person unfit to be in that Supervisor garb is still working there then I will never eat at that location again. He understood, but she will still work there, because, well - when you get that bright blue Supervisor shirt it means you have been there a while (a little while at least) and all these companies really care about is their gains and losses. Even though this person has no business being in customer service and they've lost my business (as well as I'm sure countless others due to this tyrant), she has more value to the company than a regular new worker, and well, companies don't want to let someone go when they need a "warm body" - that is - someone who can function in some capacity - even IF they don't know or care to treat the customer properly. That lady is RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL and has no business in customer service. And I encourage anyone else who has been disrespected by these deplorable types of people to go all the way to the top, because change only happens when the masses speak up -- PROOF - this lady is still going to be allowed to be a nasty disrespectful person working there, and I have gone to great lengths here to call them out and tell them it's NOT OKAY, and expose them. Fast Food service has gone down the drain mostly - but Whataburger has a REPUTATION for hospitality and friendliness, and clearly this location doesn't care about...
Read moreUPDATE--11.5.2023 I had to go because something was wrong where I usually go for breakfast. The lady who helped me was exceptionally kind, which is a huge change for this Whataburger. She even liked my out of control dog!
*UPDATE The general manager NEVER called me. Did his employee give him my phone number?
**DON'T GO TO THIS RESTAURANT---After my experience, I left my phone number for the general manager. I'm interested in what he will say.
*Now to make matters worse, I was just told by a Hispanic employee and then a member of management who verbally assaulted me, that Reg Tyrone said that I can't be there! This is unbelievable! He has the horrific member of management who treated me so badly tell me that I can't be there. Upper management turns bad managerial treatment on the customer.
My initial complaint is regarding ONE employee. This incident occurred on June 19th. She is an African-American woman with facial piercings. I believe she is a member of management which makes matters worse. I requested her name, but my requests were ignored. This particular individual corrected me, VERY RUDELY, for bringing in a McDonald's cup. She was also EXTREMELY RUDE about giving me a replacement cup for the WATER. Then she began chastising me for coming into your facility for the "FREE" "Senior Coffee" and not purchasing enough. When I asked for her name again, and stated that I would be making a complaint, she stated that you all knew that I had already made a complaint.
I have noticed that the times that she is in the store, she is rude when she approaches me, or makes me wait an extraordinary amount of time. And, when she is the manager at the store, it is dirty, both inside and out.
I feel that this individual should be at the very least be reprimanded with time off without pay, (approx 1 week), but also consideration of dismissal of her positiion. She obviously doesn't care about it. This person has no respect for customers, at least that's the way she...
