From the first time I tried a Jimmy John's sandwich in Chicago at a new store opening some 20+ years ago, I have absolutely loved their sandwiches. I always get a #6 Veggie (best sandwich ever) but have had bites of many others as my family experiments each time we visit. I have yet to have a bite of a sandwich I didn't like. This specific location is new, close to my home (yes!), and lives up to the Jimmy John's standard I have come to love. The restaurant is always clean, the wait fairly quick, and the staff competent, attentive, and kind. One man, who may be the owner, works especially hard at making me, his customer, feel like my business is appreciated. Oh! And they generously offer a military discount at this location (not all locations do) so don't forget to ask for it. Finally, they have a rewards program that was fairly easy to sign up for which gives you free stuff after a certain number of sandwich purchases. When I got home, I realized that they also forgot one of the bags of chips that I ordered. I paid for it, but it was missing.
I have had multiple problems at this location. Jimmy John’s used to be known for being fast, accurate and friendly. Now they are none of these things, in fact they are the...

I got the vibe the team lead really wants to get out asap as soon as store closes which is not good.
This last time I went same vibe the same team lead made my sandwich in like two seconds but the sandwhich was made completely wrong and was very sloppy I couldn’t even eat the sandwhich when I got home it was terrible.
Whoever the team lead is on these two experiences needs to “slow down” and focus on customer experience instead of trying to get people in and out as quickly...
