Local Slice II — Restaurant in Austin

i used to love to order from here. Its close to my house and the pizza is great. However the last two times I ordered I had to call them to be sure my order was on the way since so much time had passed. This last time they told me that they still hadn't even started my order and it would be another 25 minutes until they did - this was after we had already waited an hour. Very disappointing bc we were having a small birthday get together for my mom (thank you covid) and this was what she wanted for her birthday. I even offered to try and pick up the order but it was just going to take too long and I had a house full of hungry people. We ended up just having cake.. :( Im probably not going to use them again since this has happened on several occasions now. Really good pizza. Just as good as Home Slice Pizza in my opinion, and for about the same price. I didn't check the full sized pizza prices, but the sliced pizza prices are about the same. First slice of pizza was pretty good. Second slice of pizza was a little greasy, but still tasty. Their slices of pizza come from a 20 in. pizza, so they're pretty big...something to keep in mind when ordering by the slice. Their restaurant's size is pretty small still (the size of pizza delivery chains that don't expect people to eat there), but they do have tables to eat on if you want to eat there.
