I recently celebrated my Mom's 75th birthday at this wonderful restaurant, and I cannot sing their praises enough! From the moment we began planning the event, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our gathering of 30 friends and family members, many of whom traveled from out of town.
The level of personalized service we received was unparalleled. They crafted a menu tailored to our preferences and were incredibly flexible with our options. Communication was a breeze; they were always responsive and easy to work with, making the planning process smooth and stress-free.
On the day of the celebration, despite challenging weather with the threat of rain, they effortlessly set up a canopy on their beautiful patio for us. The setting was simply stunning, and the staff's attention to detail was remarkable. They checked in with us frequently to ensure everything was running smoothly, and their friendliness and attentiveness to our guests truly made the evening unforgettable.
The drinks were amazing, and the food was nothing short of spectacular—authentic, delicious, and presented with flair. Each dish was a culinary delight, leaving everyone thoroughly satisfied.
To top it all off, they went the extra mile by capturing photos and a video of the celebration, which they promptly shared with us afterward. It's clear they genuinely cared about making my Mom's birthday special, and their efforts did not go unnoticed.
I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a venue to host a special occasion. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, or any milestone worth celebrating, you can trust this establishment to exceed your expectations and create...
Read moreSave your money, this place has gone downhill. I don’t frequently take the time to write negative reviews but Manuel’s needs to reevaluate their menu or reduce their prices. Totally not worth the money spent to dine here.
My fiancé and I regrettably decided to celebrate our anniversary here. I had been once before with a friend maybe a year ago and everything was great. What happened, Manuel’s?
We ordered the Baja taquitos to start and they were the only decent thing we ordered. They were basically deconstructed scallop tacos. My fiancé got the shrimp fajitas for one, the shrimp was bland and in his words “the bell peppers and onions were the best part”. My ahi tuna entree was absolutely horrible. I ordered the ahi medium rare and received a piece of fish that had the appearance and consistency of a pork chop. It was so tough to chew I couldn’t even finish half of it. The side salad that came with the entree was SWIMMING in dressing and could only be described as a soggy mess. I couldn’t stomach more than a few bites. Between the two of us we had 1 appetizer, 2 cocktails and 2 entrees and spent $115 before tip. Service was very meh. We may have let the manager know how we felt if saw someone. When we walked out the place was a ghost town. No host or manager or anyone in sight.
This trip was so horrible we decided this dinner didn’t count towards our anniversary and are going to try again somewhere better. Out $140 on a crummy dinner. Could’ve gone to Chuy’s for half the cost and...
Read moreThis is the 2nd time I’ve been to Manuel’s. The first time, I loved it so much but hubby didn’t so we hadn’t come back for 3 years or so. I think he’s a fan now! The Campeche was fresh; very watery but I assume that’s how traditional campeches are. I loved the shrimp in it; the fish was but the shrimp was the star for me. My crab enchiladas were amazing - they better be since they were almost $40. But I don’t regret ordering them at all. They were overstuffed with fresh crab. The better sauce of the 2 was the chipotle cream sauce. Great texture and not overly smoky, which I don’t like smoky at all. The fajitas were a mixed opinion for me. They didn’t look appetizing but they tasted good. Even with the sizzle, I didn’t like how there was such little grill marks and char on the meat. The fixins were really good except sadly, their version of Mexican rice is lacking in flavor. The flan was small but good. It had coconut flakes in it so don’t order it if you’re not a coconut fan. The parfaits were good too but it’s really just vanilla ice cream with layers of sauce. Nothing complicated about it at all. The chocolate sauce however wasn’t the typical thin Hershey’s sauce but this viscous, delicious, velvety sauce that really stood out to me. It was the best chocolate sauce I’ve ever had. Not sure if it was homemade though since the waiter didn’t know either.
I highly recommend Manuel’s for true...
