UPDATE (as of 11/22/21): Shortly after this issue occurred I also provided feedback through the Papa Johns website (they sent me an email saying they wanted my feedback for the order). I told them all Ive mentioned here, and they sent me an email claiming Id get a refund on the order (NEVER HAPPENED). They claimed in their response that they dont take these issues lightly (not my experience with this order). I sent them an email response back asking them how Id get a refund if I paid in cash shortly after they sent the email reply. No response at all. I decided to give them some time at the time to respond...its been 4 months now and they never responded and have never gotten back to me since. No refund at all (not even at the very least a $1 for the overcharge cause they are accepting orders for things that they do not have enough supply for). Says a lot.
Usually havent had any issues with this place. But about 10 mins. after ordering when I was already on my way to pick up the pizza they called and said they did not have enough supply to make one of the other items I ordered. When they took the other item off of the order they rang me up at the cash register and charged me $1 more than it should have cost for what they actually could make (I checked online when I got home to see). Despite how hard the TWO employees running this Papa John’s today are trying, two people are, without question, NOT EVER enough to do that on a Sunday afternoon.
How do I know there are only two people working today? Because I drove there to get a refund after over two hours of waiting. (We were given an estimate of 30 - 40 minutes…) We called 5 times in our second hour of waiting, and spent a combined total of over 30 minutes on hold trying to talk to SOMEONE about why our order no longer even showed up in the automated system…
Little did I know… on my way into the store the random guy I held the door for was MY PIZZA being picked up by a DoorDash driver. So… could I get a refund? No. Because our order was complete. Could I get him turned around so I could get my pizza? Also no, because my pizza was in the hands of someone who DOES NOT WORK FOR PAPA JOHN’S. Was I informed at any point that delivery was through DoorDash, and not Papa John’s? NOPE. Instead, I got to chase a DoorDash driver the whole way back to my house for cold pizza.

Read moreI've mostly never had issues with this location, but my most recent order was stuck in the "making" stage of the app for a while (around 20 mins) so I called the customer service number to see if I could get an actual update. They were able to tell me the store was still open (my fault for placing the order so late) and that my order was actively being worked on. My driver was super nice when dropping off the food as well. (All of my drivers have been awesome) I think only once has my order not been on the same quality as the others, but in my opinion it was okay enough to over look.
My order was late but it was still warm and freshly made.
It seems they're a bit short staffed so those currently working there definitely deserve a raise. Keep up the hard work! I see some reviews stating a merge with door dash causing delayed delivery times so just be aware of that, but I think all of my drivers have been employees of Papa Johns.
My only real suggestion to help make things run smoother is to add a way to text the store generic messages through the app even if it's after hours if you have an active order so you can get updates, but that's more of an app review than this store's...
