My experience was SO awesome I just had to leave a review! This location is far superior in comparison to other locations I’ve visited over the years. Everything was clean, stocked up and everything worked! The food was amazing, as expected once entering the restaurant. The main reason for my review is based on my wonderful experience with a manager named Vanessa. My child is super picky and is practicing ordering her own food. She is a little shy but Vanessa was very sweet and patient and made my child more comfortable by saying that she also doesn’t like alot of stuff. My child had narrowed her choices down to a few items but had several questions about what came on each item. Vanessa explained each one and made sure my child understood how each was made. This process took a little while, but Vanessa never made us feel like we were a bother or asking for too much. By the end of the conversation Vanessa and my child decided what she wanted to order, I didn’t have to do anything. I have never had such an exceptional experience. Vanessa empowered my child and even gave her a tip that she can look up other menus online so she won’t be as nervous in the future but next time we come in she will help us find another item to try. My child talked about Vanessa for days and has requested whataburger regularly since our visit. She did say that she wants to make sure Vanessa is there since they’re friends now. A HUGE thank you to Vanessa for not only being so helpful but also for encouraging my child to use her voice to ask for what she wants. If I could give 100 gold stars to Vanessa I would. Read moreI ordered three meals and a chocolate milk shake from the drive-thru. When I got the shake it was white. I told them it was supposed to chocolate. The guy in the drive thru insisted it was chocolate. I drove off, taking a sip of the milkshake. It was flavorless and didn't taste like chocolate (or vanilla for that matter). So, I went inside, spoke to the manager, Jordan Santos, who remade the shake. It was still white and flavorless. He insisted it was correct and that it came 'premixed' so an error would be impossible. I left. Not satisfied, I went to the next nearest Whataburger (Wells Branch) and ordered a chocolate shake. It was made perfectly brown in color with a chocolate flavor. I then took BOTH shakes back to the E. Parmer location to let the manager know that is indeed a mishap with their machine or error in his assumption that there was nothing wrong with the shake machine. I asked for a refund. He refused. I asked for him to remake the shake to at least a vanilla to give to someone else. He refused. I told him that I had to spend extra time, money and gas to go get another shake made the way it should have been and he said, "I've already replaced it and I'm not doing it again. It seems after 5pm when their kid employees get out of school, there is a huge difference in service. Several unsatisfactory orders including uncooked food, missing items and severe lack of customer service. They don’t pay much attention to time and detail nor be hospitable towards their customers. Store Manager, Tiffany Velazquez, is almost never available in the evening to adhere to any customer complaints. From the drive thru window, I have witnessed the PM Team Leaders/Shift Managers allowing these children to offer really mediocre service without giving any corrections - which deems them purposeless. I called in for a small complaint (missing an extra chx strip which was purchased by card) and small, affordable refund of less than $2. I spoke with Tiffany, who told me the only way I could be adhered to was if I drove all the way back to the restaurant @11pm. Being a previous Whataburger employee and knowing how their POS system works, I initially am annoyed and will now publicly verify that it is possible to process a refund over the phone if that manager wants to do their job.
