Read moreI have never been so disappointed with the entire experience. My family and I visit this location about once a month since it is about 15 minutes away. We order a family style subbing for thighs and breasts only and have no issue paying the extra. With this being mentioned- we were told that when we placed our order that they could not sub the items since they did not have enough to make the order. I said I understand since I am a Reginal Manager for What-A Burger. I provided my card for payment and went on our way home after spending 6 hours on the road to get home after our Thanksgiving trip not wishing to cook anything once we arrived home. As I was waiting on the order to be completed- the MOD was seen from the window dancing around and laughing at the crew. I thought at least they are having a good time, but this was not the case. A leader should be setting an example for the team, ensuring that the business is ready, staff is ready, and all products are up to the standard set by Corporate. The young lady handed my card back and then handed the bag for the family meal with an odd smile. I was really too tired from the road to give it a second thought until I made it back to the house. A twelve-piece meal that was $43.83 that consisted of 12 burnt pieces of chicken- here is the funny part- the MOD thought it was a great idea to make a 12-piece meal by offering 2 burnt thighs, 1 burnt wing and 9- yeas count them 9 burnt chicken legs. Yes, folks you too can be taken advantage of at this location as well. We should call it give me your money and guess what we will give you. The MOD is a joke if this is the way she thinks this is a way to build a business, though it is the way to close a business quickly. All I want is my money back and don't even think a store credit is even a thought- lol.. I want my...
Read moreThis may be the busiest Popeyes in Austin and they did not account for that when they constructed the location. I visited the restaurant 2 times this week. July 2nd, Tuesday was horrible. You would think that on this day, they would have nonstop chicken frying and extra people because the line stretched to the Sonic next door. Someone thought that if you have people pay first then wait where others need to exit that this would be a great idea. Nope! Traffic jam city and then you get impatient people or fools that have to be anywhere before everyone so they drive out on the entrance side. Chaos!! They have employees who could be making orders or frying chicken running out drive thru orders to the line of cars that are blocking people from leaving as they are instructed to wait along the exit lane. I ordered 3 of the specials - 1 order with leg and breast which i paid extra for and the other 2 orders all legs. And some gravy and I'm set. I received 2 legs, a thigh and breast. Almost went back but I would have been too ugly to them. Went back Saturday July 6th. They got my order correct but messed up my friend's order and obviously messed up too many drive thru orders to count. As I sat there, they must have started handing out orders incorrectly because 4-5 people returned their drive thru orders to the inside counter to be fixed. There was always plenty of chicken so they just need to have 1 or 2 people fixing the drive thru orders correctly. Talk to each other about what order you are working on and what you need. Slow down taking orders when you see traffic waiting on orders. I don't know when I will try this store again because the Pecan street store is farther away but Less Chaos! Popeye's owner or Corp- Please help fix this...
