Waffle House — Restaurant in Austin

This was our second time going to this waffle House. We came in after going to a concert down at circuit of the Americas and we knew what we were going to get into. 1:00 in the morning on a Friday. We knew that we just wanted to get some breakfast and then go home and crash. I mean come on face it we're not making good decisions here. Anyways, I digress We took a seat at the counter because they had half the place closed down and we were greeted by our waiter Britain. Now, my hat is off to the cooks, they have that down to an art, but Britain?? I don't think this job is for him. My man has two speeds, slow and nope. There were still plates at the bar from the guy that was just finishing eating when we showed up and then there was an entire booth that had plates on it of the people who left when we sat down. Britain was not about doing dishes or even cleaning, his whole goal in life was to call orders and run the register.

In fact, when we went to leave we piled up all of our plates and wiped everything down because there was a line of people coming out the door and we were just trying to do our part just so somebody else could sit down if Britain ever decided to take the plates off and give the bar a quick once-over with the rag.

Came to a conference in Austin, Tx decided to go to the Waffle House on Parmer Ln, for breakfast, should have known with flies on the walls and dead ones on the windowsills this was a bad idea! I was going to overlook the insect problem, but when I asked politely to the waitress if she could wipe down the table because it was sticky,she rolled her eyes and slapped the dirty rag on the table. I was with my mom & oldest sister, wanted to keep it low key so I swallowed my pride and kept it cool. We looked at the menus for more than 10 minutes.. there were no other customers there to be waited on..waited another 10-15 minutes, I asked the same waitress if they could take our order and she advised she was training someone and that's why she hadn't asked us for the order -_- . She finally came with the "trainee" and took our order.. get this was just a hoax, since that same waitress suddenly left to purchase napkins & toilet paper and the trainee was left by herself to tend to other customers that had arrived within the 20 minutes the other lady was gone. Hands down this was one of the worst places to eat breakfast. The food itself was overpriced and tasted so-so. I should have gone to the Jack in the Box in front of that restaurant, at least there I know I didn't pay for the atmosphere and it was...

Man i have always wanted to go here since this place opened up. Well i finially got my chance last night. The service was so bad there. I doubt id ever go back. The waiter had his earbuds on and he was talking so low that I couldn't understand him. He asked what i wanted and my bf was still looking i told him thats qll for me and he took off before he could take my boyfriend's order. He stood next to register watching something on his phone. When he finally came back he didnt ask how he like his eggs so he gave him scrambled when he wanted over easy. We told him after we noticed the cook made our plates. We told waiter and he then said the eggs are already made. He told the cook and he got mad and im guessing refused to make the eggs as he took off to the back and never came out. And left our sausage patties on the grill never came back to give them to us untill we told waiter. He blamed the cook that he left them and they burned. We paid and he asked if i wanted my change which was 9 dollars. Im sorry i usually tip but this time service really sucked.
