Poke House Mueller — Restaurant in Austin

I almost never write reviews, but Poke House is probably the one spot I’ve ordered from the absolute most, other than a fast food burger joint. They’re my go-to and simply my favorite spot ever for poke. I usually order through DoorDash or Uber Eats, so I’ve only eaten at the restaurant once, but no matter how I get it, their quality and flavors are always consistent and amazing. I love the perfect variety of toppings you can add to your bowl, and it’s probably the best value for poke I’ve found anywhere. The fish always tastes fresh and is served at the right temperature. The rice is never too dry or too soggy. I’ve been to other places where the fish was warm, seemed spoiled, or even made me feel sick afterward, or the rice is just way too dry for my liking, but Poke House has never failed me. Y’all are the love of my life (I’m not being dramatic). If I could afford to have a poke bowl every single day from here, I absolutely would 🥰🥰🥰 please...

Pricey!! my kiddos and I came in and just looked around.. we looked lost, but no one even asked us how we were and such.. we were new to this place and tried to figure out what to do.. yes, there's a sign on how to do things step by step but still.. so we proceeded to go down the line.. when I got my bill, I was charged 1 large and 2 small bowls.. I don't recall seeing anything about bowl sizes, but it would have been nice to get informed because my kiddos and I pretty much asked for the same, just different protein choices.. one even had less stuff.. so I'm not sure what makes a large vs small bowl.. Anyway, food was good but customer service...

Edit 3.9.25. Nice turn around since opening. I've been back a few times and portion sizes have greatly improved.

Jan 2025: The manager was nice. I'll give it a few weeks, and will update review if it improves. ...I know what a soft opening is, but google said this restaurant was open, there were not any signs saying "we are still training" and I paid full price. Having said that I love your restaurant concept and I'll give it a few more visits before making this review permanent. In the mean time, I'll keep making the drive to Bee Caves. Thanks for...
