Taco Bell — Restaurant in Austin

It seems like every time I go past 9:00PM, they have run out of beef and chicken and either I have to pay extra for the only meat they DO have, steak, or I have to wait 20 minutes for them to make the beef/chicken. Orders are messed up more frequently than I would like. The drive through lane takes a long time, presumably because someone is waiting for the beef and chicken to be made. Employees never ask if you want sauce either. Although there is one employee that stands out as being amazing. I believe her name was Kim, black woman probably in her late 30s to 40s. She was so cheerful from the second I walked through the doors. She took my order promptly and then struck up a little personal conversation. She even brought me a free order of cini-twists. When no one was in line ready to order, she was going around wiping down tables, helping the to-go line. She was a great employee! I’m an Uber eats delivery driver, and I can’t tell you how many Taco Bell restaurants I have been denied from. They always claim that they don’t do Uber eats orders after midnight or claim other things. Have attitudes, and make it difficult for Uber eats drivers like myself. This Taco Bell was so the opposite, I couldn’t believe it. Tone was the one who spoke with me at the drew threw, he was so wonderful. He seemed to love his job. He asked how we were doing and was so enthusiastic about helping us with our order. Him and his team had everything in order. Very tip top shape. Smiles at 1 a.m in the morning, being very friendly and just great working people, really made our day. Thank you so much Tone for being so welcoming, polite, enthusiastic and just awesome!!...

I drive up, hungry. I leave hungry. 8:20pm... they told me they are closed. Due to short staff. They guy actually said. " It's just me and another girl here, and I'm leaving in a min." I want to know who the GM is. If your store is short staffed you should be there.

On a brighter note. I went to the Taco Bell on Parmer by Metric Blvd, right after. The Lady at the window was super nice and said they were also busy but powering through it. She said she a customer just yeld at her for the wait. Im not going to go into detail about our conversation, but lets say she needs to be the GM of the other store.
