Ray Benson's Roadhouse Bar — Restaurant in Austin

We frequent this restaurant on every trip to Austin. Always hadnnice table service as they did 3 weeks ago. We just entered the restaurant area today and sat at a table and waited about 20 mins. visiting until we realized no one was waiting on tables. So my husband went to the bar to order. He stood there about five minutes waiting, with no other customers waiting. A group of four young men approached the bar and were immediately able to give their orders. My husband objected but was immediately dismissed saying, “They were here first.” I explained we’d been here about twenty mins and my husband was obviously first at the bar. By then my husband had left and I followed, neither of us wanting to cause a scene as the bartender said bye bye loudly to us! What kind of employee is that?? He was about 30, dark hair and stout. Sorry to not have that restaurant to visit anymore....

There was so much wrong with this place but I'll start from the beginning. They only have one register which caused the lady who was taking my order to pause and put their order in first even though I has talking to the lady before the phone rang. The customer service at both the bar and the salt lick taco stand were horrible. Plus its way over priced even for an airport. I ordered one La Marca prosecco the bill came to $16.24. I order two 2 tacos at $4.79 each I was presented with just meat in soft shell each additional topping is .50. So for the bare minimum of cabbage, cheese and peppers it was another 1.50 each plus .75 for sauce on each. Never...
