Sisters SnoShack — Restaurant in Austin

My family and I absolutely love Sisters! It is a gem in one of the most beautiful parts of Austin. I bring my family here regularly, as we enjoy the beautiful, shaded setting and delicious snoballs. We made our most recent visit yesterday, and as always, the young ladies working there were extremely kind and gracious. They let you sample whatever flavors you are considering, and their quality and service are second to none. My eldest son ordered the incredible hulk (hint: add cream!), while my younger ordered a fantastic flavor called Blue Beary. They were both out-of-this-world delicious, and really hit the spot in the heat of summer! We always look forward to visiting this place - it is a locally-owned operation here in Austin, and part of what makes our city so very special. i have been several times now. the positives are that the girls are always very friendly and prompt with service. the ice is shaved extreme fine and is a great texture. the syrups are high quality and tasty. however, i have to take stars off because each time i go i am left with a dry chunk of ice at the bottom. i understand that this is to avoid a soggy snowcone, but i would expect that for 8$ my snowcone is saturated through. i know in other reviews youve suggested coming back to the van, but i often take my treats to go and by the time i reach the bottom i am long gone; i’d prefer if it was made correctly...

SO GOOD! First time visiting, the lady who helped me was super nice with explaining odd to me flavors. They let me test a few flavors too before I got the Orchid Vanilla with cream.
