A Hidden Gem! This New Sushi Spot Left Us Completely Smitten!** While strolling with my boyfriend the weekend, we stumbled upon a newly opened sushi restaurant. Its understated entrance exuded *wabi-sabi* elegance, drawing us in effortlessly. Stepping inside, we were greeted by warm wooden tones, soft lighting, and delicate “ukiyo-e” art pieces—every detail radiated refined sophistication. The ambiance was so captivating that we couldn’t resist snapping photos with our camera to capture its aesthetic charm. But the true star of the show? The food—an absolute masterpiece for both the eyes and palate! 🍣 Exceptional Ingredients: - A5 Wagyu Beef: Marbled like snow, it melted on the tongue with rich, buttery notes, perfectly complemented by freshly grated wasabi. - Australian W9 Beef Sushi: Lightly torched to enhance its smoky aroma, the tender meat delivered an explosion of umami with every bite. - Other highlights like”otoro” (fatty tuna), uni (sea urchin), and sweet shrimp nigiri were equally divine—each piece a celebration of freshness

This is a review of the newly opened sushi AYCE restaurant Sushi Warriors, located in the Triangle. I went for dinner, and the prices were $38.95, $59.95 and $79.95 depending on the different levels. I opted for the $38.95 dinner option. The higher levels unlocks premium items like Blue Fin Tuna, Chu Toro, Snow Crab..etc. I enjoyed all the cold appetizers we ordered, with the Yuzu Yellowtail being my favorite. The nagiri were of reasonable size, the amount of rice wasn't too much. The sashimi slices were of generous portion. Everything tasted fine, all seemed fresh. The interior was very clean and nice. It was spacious, there was a semi private section towards the back, and there were claw machines towards the front waiting area. Overall I considered it a good dining experience. There is slightly less items on the menu compared to Machi, but given that Machi is farther away from me, I would consider Sushi Warriors a good sushi AYCE option north of Town Lake.

Sushi Warriors just opened up in the Triangle and honestly, it’s a game-changer for AYCE sushi in Austin. Yeah, parking here can be a nightmare (we spent nearly 15 minutes driving around waiting for a spot to open up), but once you sit down, it’s totally worth it. The food comes out relatively fast, the servers are super attentive, and the price is crazy good for the quality. The menu has great variety, and almost everything we tried tasted fresh. Our top picks were the fried calamari (perfectly crispy) and the unagi sashimi (so flavorful). Easily one of the best AYCE sushi spots in town right now. We did not like any of the tuna (the spicy tuna in the rolls was fine, but the sashimi was flavorless). The shumai was the other item we did not care for (mushy and not very flavorful).

We came here for a date night and were impressed at first. The server assigned to us was wonderful, very attentive, welcoming, and consistently checked on our table. He made us feel well taken care of, which we appreciated.

However, when I accidentally knocked over my udon bowl, the experience became frustrating. Our server was occupied elsewhere, and despite several staff members making eye contact with me, no one came to assist. I struggled to clean up with just a single napkin, and my partner had to go to the restroom to wash up after getting broth all over his clothes. He eventually had to go to his car to change, walking past multiple staffs, including the host, yet no one checking in or offering assistance. The only staff member who actually helped was the busser responsible for cleaning tables. She brought me a rag and assisted with the spill, and I genuinely appreciated her for doing that. Unfortunately, the lack of attention and professionalism from the rest of the team made the situation feel unprofessional and disappointing. If I were tipping anyone, it would...
