A lot of the reviews seem to be reviewing IR saunas in general and not this specific place.
Pros:
Cost - the membership is a good value at 4x a month for $80. The app is extremely easy to use. Location - lots of free parking and nearby stuff to do. Tons of different appointment times available, good operating hours. Facilities - always clean. The saunas are high quality. Ample towels. Accommodating staff.
Cons: Half the rooms don't have showers - what's the point of getting extremely sweaty if you can't take a shower afterwards?
Rooms are very sparse. Plastic chair, TV, one hook on the wall, and towel shelf. If you bring a second person, someone's stuff is going to have to go on the floor. There's nowhere else to put it.
Showers only have half a door and splash on the floor outside. The shower amenities are passable. Less like a spa and more like taking a shower at the Y. The shower tends to heat up quickly so contrast showers aren't really a thing here.
No drinking water access in the rooms. The only water is a machine in the lobby. It's a noticeable drawback that the rooms don't have water dispensers, much less mini fridges. The cold towel provided at the end is actually just a room temp wet towel.
They will blast you with texts and emails once you're in the system to get you to sign up.
I'm glad this place exists and I will remain a member but it would be much better if every room had a (better) shower and a mini fridge, if the facility had cold options and the rooms had more...
Read morePerspire has become my go-to spot for wellness, and I've visited a staggering 489 times. While I don't want to sound overly enthusiastic, I genuinely appreciate what this place has to offer.
From the start, the staff at Perspire has consistently been friendly and knowledgeable. They introduced me to the benefits of infrared saunas, and I've never looked back. The studio's cleanliness and attention to detail have always been top-notch.
The infrared saunas themselves are where the real benefits kick in. I've noticed improvements in my skin and overall health, and the boost in my metabolism has been a pleasant surprise. But more than that, these sessions have provided a sanctuary for relaxation and reflection that's hard to find elsewhere.
Booking sessions is hassle-free, thanks to their online and app-based systems. They offer a variety of session lengths and sauna types to accommodate different needs and schedules.
What's commendable about Perspire is their dedication to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Over the 489 visits, I've seen them introduce new features and services, showing their commitment to staying at the forefront of the wellness industry.
In summary, Perspire Sauna Studio has had a positive impact on my life through 489 visits. If you're seeking a reliable place to boost your health and find some peace, give it a try. It's a dependable wellness oasis, and I look forward to...
Read moreStaff is very rude and does not maintain the facilities. I needed to resolve a double charge as I had subscribed to their membership (required after a certain number of times going), yet they still charged me for one of my visits. The staff in the location told me that âit wasnât their responsibilityâ and I couldnât convince them to look into it.
The TVs are often not set up when arriving to the sauna meaning you have to listen to the staff taking calls outside while you try to relax in a sauna.
The saunaâs themselves are rather cramped.
Oh, and when my HSA card wasnât full enough to charge their required monthly membership to use the sauna, I received three separate text messages regarding it across multiple days.
When I requested they stop spamming me, rightfully annoyed with the harassment, their manager âPeteâ, similarly sent another aggressive text message to me.
Keep in mind, I hadnât even been using the sauna for the past two months but Pete seems to feel it needs to be a consistent monthly payment, even if you arenât using the sauna, and he will sure stop at nothing to get that monthly payment!
Yikes! Please do not charge my card anymore, Pete! I can go without...
