The Pub - Triangle — Restaurant in Austin

Went to the soft opening and was very pleasantly surprised at how good it all was. They’re still getting set up, but it will be a great place to watch sports- big TV’s everywhere and a gigantic main projector for big games. They will also have an impressive selection of tap beers (talked to the owner) and even several pre-mixed cocktails on tap! For food, there were about 10 in our party, so we pretty much just ordered one of everything to try it and I will say nothing disappointed us, but some things really stood out. First off, the Reuben spring rolls were AMAZING. The house-made bangers and mash was incredible- the sausage was so good. The quesadilla was really good, as were the Irish nachos. The Pub is a great place to meet up with friends for a drink or to catch a game. I was there for the UT/OU game during the soft opening. The only issue I had was the idiot OU fan someone in my group invited. Food was good - the Bangers and Mash, Rueben Egg Rolls, and Soft Pretzel really stood out to me. The bar is huge with literally a wall full of taps! The waitstaff was very helpful and friendly. The game on the projection screen was wonderful - I can't wait for the 100" screens to be installed next to it. If you stop by, say hi to Lewis - he will take good...

My second visit went as well as my first. The food has been really good and the service is even better. The staff and owner go out of their way to make sure you have an experience worth leaving a 5-star rating. The lunch menu isn't big, but the price is very fair for the portions and it comes out pretty quick. It's not big enough for leftovers, but will definitely fill you up.
