Wow. Just wow. This place is incredible. I was here visiting out of town, and google said this restaurant was highly rated, and I must make sure I add to that! Each dish was a work of art, and there were a couple dishes that stood out.
The sushi appetizer "Honey Glazed Apple on top of Salmon" looked and tasted like something you might find at a 4 or 5 star restaurant. The flavor, the texture, the presentation... It was unprecedented. When I am next in the area, this will be something I will always order in addition to the rest of my meal. Make sure you eat it as served, because dipping it into soy sauce would be an injustice to the delicate flavors of Salmon, honey glaze, green onion, and char from the lightly blowtorched surface!
The Plum Roll, which is the dish that looks like a big plum, is rice, crab, and avocado, wrapped in a ball by layers of Tuna. I've never had a roll like it; you eat it with a fork and knife, kind of like a filet or a cake. The green wasabi sauce drissled on top cut the sweetness of the spicy mayo in the center perfectly.
10/10. Thank you for a wonderful, memorable meal I will be talking...
Read moreStopped in for lunch. Staff was friendly and decor is nice. But food was really not that great. They serve Chinese, Thai, and Japanese and I usually avoid establishments that try to cross these cuisines as I find there is no way they do them all well. Thai Bubble tea was really bad watered down and mostly flavorless, got a couple of the futomaki sushi rolls and while presentation was nice again flavors were not great. Especially the rice was not very good, gummy, and compacted in the roll. Also tried the drunken noodles. They were not authentic Thai. They were skinny box noodles where they should be large flat often homemade. And the sauce tasted like a general Asian stirfry sauce no Thai flavors like fish sauce were present. The vegetables and shrimp in the dish though were very fresh. I did not try any of their Chinese dishes but did see a couple being ordered next to me and they looked pretty good so that might be this...
Read morePlum is a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. Quality and freshness truly shine through in every dish, regardless what you choose.
We had a couple drinks and tried the Poke bowl, the Scooby Doo roll, and the crab rangoons along with some edamame for the little one.
Each dish was crafted with care and attention to detail. The poke bowl was vibrant and packed with fresh ingredients, blending textures and flavors beautifully. The Scooby Doo roll was a standout - a perfect balance of spice and umami that left us craving more.
And the crab rangoons? Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, paired with a home made duck sauce that brought everything together.
Using fresh, high-quality ingredients makes a noticeable difference. Every bite was a delight, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch Asian...
