I stumbled upon Erin and Milestone design over a google search as I looked for help on designing my basement renovation project. I had no idea what would be where in my unfinished space - and that's where Erin really is a value-add. From the beginning, it was all about me, and what our family wanted from the space. She diligently listened to everything we pitched to her way, inspiration images, youtube videos, even instagram reels (yep!) to build a stunning set of designs. We utilized roughly 95% of her initial drafts in our final designs which tells you how strong of a design sense she has. Erin is incredibly detail oriented and doesn't leave out anything from your wish list. She was very punctual in her deliverable timelines being respectful of both of our time. Even with delays on my end, she works around my schedule. What did I learn after going through the end to end process? Erin offers a seriously top tier product for a very reasonable price - something that has time and monetary impact on the back end of your projects. I am literally working with contractors now to quote her exact designs - contractors are blown away that I'm ready to roll from a design standpoint and are equally impressed her design outputs which includes a 3-D virtual walkthrough, PDF images, and top down views. We recently used Erin Rudy of Milestone Home Design to remodel our family room and dining room. She is a fantastic interior designer and a joy to work with. She is also a great listener and very collaborative, such that the end product of our remodel is exactly what we were hoping for. Specifically, we had been thinking about remodeling these two rooms in our 20+ year old home for several years, but were overwhelmed by and inexperienced in how to proceed. We knew we wanted new flooring, new wall colors, new furniture and a new interior design…but what and how? We were stuck. Erin came into our home, reviewed what we currently had and what we were looking for. She then went back and using visualization tools was able to provide several options, which we could then fine-tune with her expertise, including sourcing and service provider referrals. She was great at offering various options and critiquing our ideas, with thoughtful and super helpful feedback. The iterative process got us to the perfect remodel of us!
