PIZZA ONE AVON — Restaurant in Avon

I do not understand all of these glowing 5-star reviews. Are there some fake reviews on here? I'd say that their pizza is exceedingly average and definitely not anything to write home about. The taste that I mostly got out of eating one of their pies was the saltiness. It was kinda overbearing. Not a lot else going on in the flavor department. The cheese that they use didn't seem to be of particularly high quality to me, it seemed like the kind of low-end quality that you'd expect a Dominos or even a Little Caesar's to use not a locally owned and high end (pricewise) pizzeria.

The thing that I did like about their pizza was the crust. I found the crust to be reminiscent of a New England or NYC style pizza which I've always been a huge fan of. All things considered though, I probably won't be going back to PizzaOne. If I want to shell out $15 (!) for a small sized and only average pizza I'll just go somewhere...

Pizza One in Avon is a must-try! It’s one of the best, most delicious, and homemade pizza places I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend it! I didn’t even look at the pizza until I got home with my wife to be, and boy, was it worth the wait! The whole thing just melts in your mouth. It put the biggest smile on our faces, filled us up, and made us want to go back for more. If anyone in the Vail, Edward, or Avon community is looking for an amazing pizza place that will completely satisfy your cravings, Pizza One is the place to go! updated response to owner Regardless of doordash’s shortfall the owner was extremely rude and rejected the customer’s offers to pickup the food. Perhaps the owner was having a bad start to the year, but I’d recommend treating customers with more respect in the future…
