Karen's Kreamery — Restaurant in Avondale

I have been going to Karen's Kreamery since they first opener in Avondale in 1996. I disagree with the negative review and for another person too judge on the appearance of Karen and Joe just shows how low their character is. And no Jenny Craig does not have a warrant out for then, how rude of a comment is that and body shaming. Shame on you. I would never do business with something that judges others by their appear their ice cream is "to die for" I absolutely love it. Karen has since closed her storefront and now wholesale and does local events all over the Phoenix area. Karen and Joe are more the willing to make sure their customer are happy. And as one said their cone broke, it would have been replaced at no charge but they do not and have never had a food truck so that's confusing. This food truck was recently at the ABODA State championships. I walked to the front of the truck to make sure they displayed that they took credit/debit card, which it did. The place was crowded, and the truck had only one worker! After waiting in line for more than 30 minutes, I placed my order. I then handed her my debit card and she said her partner went to get more supplies and he had the card reader. Well, my friend had cash so I was still able to purchase my order. My husband starting eating his cone and the whole thing just fell apart in his hands and went right to the ground. This food truck is a giant disappointment! Little tip: If your card reader is down or unavailable, cover your credit/debit card display. Teach your employees how to properly load a waffle cone and not leave the entire insides hollow. We will not try them again....

WOW This ice cream stand has some of the best ice cream I have ever eaten. I have traveled the world. Hands down the best I have had so far. I asked them if they had a store and they told me not at this time. Just events, I guess Phx convention center will be my new ice cream spot. Oh by the way the vanilla was my favorite. Cookies and cream very close second. But on man the vanilla I can still taste it. I can’t wait until the kids have another sporting event in Phx...
