Mi Cabana Mexican Restaurant 9 — Restaurant in Ayden

This is our favorite place to eat in all of Pitt County. The menu is widely varied, the food is served in absolutely delicious and well-presented proportions, and service is fantastic. This time we ordered the appetizer sampler platter, the shrimp camarones ala crema, cheese enchiladas, with Mexican salads. As usual, everything was delicious... Mi Cabana restaurant offers outdoor dining, however we enjoy the inside atmosphere so much too. It's very clean, they have sports playing on several televisions, good music, and it's decorated beautifully with comfortable booths to sit in. We had the pleasure of Samantha as our waitress. She was very kind, fun, and accomodating! A manager named Juan visited our table asking how everything was. He was anxious to please and just a really good guy! Our food was so delicious that we ordered a second meal and dessert to enjoy at home the next day. We're returned for dinner tonight because it's so reasonably priced, we were craving good authentic Mexican food, and we'd love to see the Samantha and Juan again too. 🥰 The people here are like...

I don’t normal do stuff like this but this was terrible I eat at this restaurant atless once a week they switch management and the service sense has been terrible I have given them the benefit of doubt due to them switching and probably having to get things back in order but 2 times I have gotten food from thier that seemed to be 2 days old the chips tasted like cardboard nothing i order was right I spent 50 dollars of food I could not eat due to it being so old it was not edible I called them first thing in the morning to tell him about the food I had gotten he told me he would give me 2 free meals I agreed even though it did not add up to what I had spent I get their tonight to get my free meal and he refused was ugly I told him I would probably not be coming here ever again and he said “ good  I am fine with that “ I wish they would bring back old management it was so much better service and I did not sit at a table with empty drinks for over 29 mins and did not have cold food severed to me and was actually waited on I highly don’t...

Even though only 2 tables were occupied and no other customers waiting, the hostess did not acknowledge our presence for some time even though we were 2 feet from her at the desk. She remained busy shuffling papers silently until I asked if they were open. She had more time to discuss the cost and time needs of getting eyelashes done with a girl that stopped by the desk before ever addressing us. Her chatter that included her speculation that they would probably get an 80 on their inspection while she was at the front desk could be heard all over the dining area. They had no small cups with take out lids for children and 20 minutes after ordering they finally admitted they had no idea when our food would be brought to the table.
