place has gone down hill bad, I used to go here alot when I was a kid. I gave It at least a few more tries before I said I can't eat here anymore. first time I ordered an Italian sub it was covered in like a gallon of oil. 2nd time pizza and service were terrible. I called the 3rd time I asked for a stake and cheese with mushrooms onions and egg the guy was like Whhat I said it again, after the 3rd time I told him he said we don't have egg in a rude manner and said what do you want. so I told him the sub without egg then, and everytime I go in there the people working there are so miserable. I always say hi when i enter and have a good one when i leve and no response from anyone. I even tip them everytime i go there right in front of them not even a thank you. so youve lost my business and unfortunately anyone who asked for a good place in ayer im like dont go here, my go to places are pizza Bella in Devens or my friends at bravo pizza...

Disgusting. Worst quality food. The only place I’ve ever been to as bad as this place is The Cottage. I didn’t go here for a couple years because the food is so bad and I took a chance today and ordered Buffalo fingers. They were dried out tiny little 1“ x 4“ pieces that look like they came out of a frozen dinner but tasted even worse. No buffalo sauce on them. Just absolutely disgusting. Even the soda was completely flat. Was probably sitting around for a year since no one goes there. The only pizza place in this town with edible food is Devens Pizza and it’s not anything I would consider a really good bud at least it’s not gross and the owner is a nice guy...

ONLY in Ayer can you NOT get just ONE slice of pizza except if you go to a few places during afternoons. Only in Ayer is there a time limit of WHEN you can get ONE slice of pizza.
So, I went into this place not having my hopes up that they would have ONE slice of pizza either. But I was pleasantly surprised that they had a WORK AROUND the 'no one slice of pizza' phenomenon that is peculiar to this particular town. They made a small individual size pizza with PITA bread. It was DELICIOUS and tasted JUST LIKE a pizza.
So 5 stars for them-UNLIKE ANY of the OTHER places in town-for having the SMARTS to be able to make a SINGLE SERVING of pizza...
