It pains me to leave a 3-star review for Dominos, which is food chain that I usually love, especially for their pan pizzas, but this particular location is very hit and miss...mostly miss. It's honestly gotten to the point where I order from Mr. Jim's more than Dominos if I want "fast food" pizza, and Palio's if I want more of the real thing.
I will say, though, that they're generally (not always) pretty kind and understanding on the phone when you call to let them know that they messed up the order (which is almost always). That's a good thing, but there's always a lingering thought in the back of my mind that's just like, "What if the next pizza they send out has some 'special ingredient' that I didn't ask for?" Not what you want to be thinking about when eating food that someone else has prepared!
My biggest gripe with them is that it seems the only pizzas they make correctly are the regular hand-tossed ones, and only if you do two ingredients max. Any more than that, and it all goes left. Don't even think about ordering the delicious pan pizza. NOPE. The toppings, including the cheese, are meant to go all the way to the edge. This literally NEVER happens. Not at this location. And then when you call them to let them know (and I'm always very kind -- one, because that's just who I am, and two -- they're making my food), they offer to send you another, but the one that they send is just as bad or worse than the first one!
Same with the stuffed cheesy bread. There's literally only cheese in the middle of the bread, in the skinniest two or three pieces. The rest is all bread. DRY bread, because they don't even put any cheese or garlic butter on top. The very few sandwiches that I've ordered from this location are, again, mostly bread, with very few toppings or other ingredients. I don't get it.
Once more, I do need to emphasize that they are normally very nice when you call in, but it doesn't really matter if the mistake is never addressed properly. If I'm calling because my pizza is dry to the point of being nearly inedible and you apologize, only to send me a pizza that's just as dry or drier, who has benefited here? Not me, because I still don't have dinner (no one over here is eating nasty food just because it's "free"), and not Dominos because they've wasted time and resources by sending out an order that still wasn't correct.
I don't know if it's management that's repeatedly dropping the ball or what's going on there, but part of customer service is actually fulfilling the needs of the customer, not just sounding nice...

One story I can tell that is absolutely beautiful & full of courage & kindness from a young Lady during a severe storm ⛈ was trying to get me a disabled old man my dinner because I cannot cook for myself & am alone with my dogs that share in my meal, She was blocked by a fallen huge tree 🌳 across the road, Yet, She walked a 1/3 of a mile in a storm debris everywhere to me!!! I was totally amazed!!! I being a understanding person of God’s Grace that I had thought that it impossible for me to receive my dinner yet, There she was, wet & so tired & facing the walk back to her car she abandoned for me!!!
I have a electrical cart so I insisted that she let me take her back to her car!!!
So we traveled through extremely hazardous debris & weather that I witnessed that she had the heart of a lioness this young lady went through for me to have a supper with my dogs & I for no power to cook a nightmare of terrible cold, windy eliminates of nature that stop’s the modern world in its tracks, She is the exsample of the Texan woman who I admire & respect so very much, I pray for her all the time, Not getting her name due to the dramatic condition’s we were in I pray that she is happy & successful in her life & pray that the man that wins her heart is of noble Texan blood who knows how special she is & how blessed he is, & I pray that she is in loving peace & joy in her wonderful life experiences!!!
This is a true story & someone I will never forget & will always pray for her blessings be in abundance for she has a beautiful heart & wisdom of the finest Ladies of Texas!!! Old Cowboy Minister Brian.

Read moreFOOD POISIONING , ONE GUY STILL PUKING, MIGHT NEED ER.......Ordered from Azle location and had delivered. We are new to Azle. We ordered 2 pizzas, the one the 2 men ate, they had poos and puking after eating it and within a few hrs of eating it. My son was violently ill, last i heard 9 pukes. I ate another dominos pizza and i had bad poos but no vomiting. I was telling neighbor as we were supposed to go somewhere together and she said oh we never order from that place, they use old sauce and she's been sick and then went on to mention she also got sick off their chicken wings.First thing out of her mouth!!! I called this in to corporate. According to other reviews basically last 5 years is mostly complaints. My neighbor also said her neighbor was always complaining how weird their sauce tastes and it tasted different each time. The one the men got sick off of was the parmesan type sauce, their meat could be bad too as they had meat on theirs where mine was mostly veggies. Everyone says they do not answer their phones and the mgr is rude hippy guy, i don't know, but I'm not waiting for him to do the right thing. He has had complaints over 5 years for bad service and has not corrected it so obviously doesn't care. I might have to take 1 guy to ER, he is really sick. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. Food poisionong can kill children and those over 65. Don't risk it, plenty of pizza places around. $48.47 for Food Poisioning,...
