My sister and I stopped to grab a bite on our way to an appointment, and we used the kiosks. (Which is totally fine.)
However, I rang in several extra sauces and at least 10 extra ketchup packets, and extra sauces run at .50 cents each if I remember correctly. It was there in black and white on the receipt.
So we sit down and wait for our food which came out relatively quickly. I accidentally hit the “Take out” button even though we were dining in, which was my bad, so we ended up getting a bag instead of a tray. No big deal.
Except my sister opens the bag and realizes absolutely NONE of our condiments are in the bag. I pulled everything out and checked myself. And let me just convey that we ordered nuggets, tenders, and fries. Nothing complicated. Nothing that could be misplaced on accident.
So I go up to the counter with the receipt and tell JENNIFER, “We didn’t get any of our condiments.” So she takes the receipt and asks me, “Which ones?” I’m a little taken aback, since she’s holding the receipt. So I just respond, “Everything on the list.”
Jennifer proceeds to roll her eyes and throw up her hands like I did not just speak to her in a polite and civilized tone. She then takes a handful of ketchup, and only two of the sauces on the counter and says in a very clipped and annoyed tone, “There you go.”
Now, I’m a server. I know how it feels to get complaints. However, I also know to not be dramatic and not blow a minor inconvenience out of proportion. So when I convey that I’ve never met a food service employee that is so RUDE and in her own head, I am not exaggerating.
So my sister tried to give it a go, who also works in customer service, I might add. She came back with two ranches. So that was the last straw for me. I spoke to a manger.
This was not a consolation. The manager was civil, but she did speak to me like I wasn’t a 20-year-old woman being very polite, calm and unbiased. Instead she talked me down like I was a preteen who just got into a screaming match with her employee, and basically conveyed that she was not going to believe me, nor do anything out of consolation for the inconvenience.
I will also be filing a formal complaint and contacting the owner of the location, and will not be returning. Not that it matters to the management, because clearly they are indignant to their customers...
Read moreI ordered from the mobile app, along with two of my coworkers. We each ordered off our own phones. Once the order is placed we receive a 2 letter and 2 digit confirmation code, along with taking our money and getting a receipt in the email. We have ordered like this in the past. I go to pick up all three of our orders and I come back no problem. However, today, they wanted to be difficult. I have always just given them the confirmation and the name on the order and that wasn't enough today. I walk up to the counter, they greet me and I let them know I am picking up three mobile orders and give them the name. Some time goes by and they try and hand me a Doordasher order. Wrong, so they confirm again what I'm doing, at that point I also give them the confirmation codes from each order. Some more time goes by and they ask again and they say they can't see my order. We all have to hit the button saying I'm here. I give them some flak because I've never had to do that before and they have always been able to see the order. I call my coworkers and tell them to hit the button. At this point I'm getting antsy and saying this is ridiculous. Some more time goes by and they still don't see my orders. I'm so mad at this point they go and get Rudolph, I guess he was the manager. I tell him I have the confirmation codes and the names that should be enough, he tells me he can't see the orders, still even after they already hit that button. Yeah I say like two curse words at this point. They have my money, I have a confirmation code, it's the correct location and they won't give me my food. After some more time, I finally get all three orders after Rudolph is calling someone on me. I don't care that I became a karen today. Rudolph could have handle that differently and I would have acted differently. He could have come out there, seen the confirmations codes and hit a button on his side (this has been done in the past) and give me my food with no problem. Just awful today. Will not be going back. I will drive to Lake worth as their prices are cheaper anyway. THANK YOU RUDOLPH FOR SHOWING ME I SHOULDNT EAT AT YOUR...
Read moreWe had a poor experience at this location. So, my husband wrote to the store and the store apologized by mail and even gave us 2 free meals. Even though we had bought 7 meals that were awful. We don't eat fast food very often and usually don't choose McDonalds but we did this time. The next experience, My husband stopped by this location McDonalds once more on the way home from my post opt appt. We had breakfast sandwiches. My special made sandwich was a McMuffin with cheese and bacon w/mayo.. The cheese was cold and hard, the bacon was cold and the McMuffin bread was not fresh, My caramel macchiato that I asked for chocolate drizzle and whipped cream, neither was put on/in coffee and the beverage tasted burnt .yuck. My husband said his sausage egg biscuit was barely warm. The hash browns where good. Our son was with us, he had bacon, egg, cheese biscuit. He said it was warm but the cheese was hard and the sausage was barely warm as well and the biscuit was in pieces. Needless to say at this point we will never go back to this McDonalds in Azle. We have tried others locations and have never had poor food. This to me just seems to be a location that really doesmt care really about what they serve to their customers, maybe because they are the only location in our small town and the closest is 30 min away in Lake Worth. It's such a shame. We understand it's just get food., But fast food still can be hot when you order it and ingredients at least look and taste fresh for fast food. For now on if we decide to go fast food we will stick to Subway on 730. They seem to have the best for a quick meal when needed.. There are others we have door with that have said the same thing about this location if McDonalds. Never really have felt the need to post a negative review, I don't like saying nedative remarks..but this has now happened the few times we have been to this location... Everyone works to hard for their money to throw it away on a location that doesn't seem to care about what they serve their customers, even if it is just fast food. Order At...
