I don't know if they got a different cook because last year the food was great but the 3 times I've been there this year the food quality has gone seriously downhill. Back in May my mom's and my food was brought to the table cold after being served expired milk with chunks floating. Then in June my mom's chicken fried chicken was a chicken strip hammered flat, breaded then fried. Then this evening we had to send our steaks back twice because the first time they were over cooked, 2nd time they were still cold in the center, so when they came back to the table we had done finished eating our sides and were tired of waiting to eat our steaks so we just ate what we could stomach of them even though they still weren't right. The steaks weren't even seasoned. A Mcdouble tastes better than the steaks did 🤮. Shift lead knew our steaks weren't right and didn't offer a discount or anything. I will be going in to speak to the owner or whoever is in charge. The worst part is when we were getting out of the car to go in there were two guys that are food critics from the DFW area. Read moreWe waited 10 minutes to be seated despite the dining room being half empty, which set the tone for the visit. Once seated, we were given the smallest water cups in the room, which were never refilled—even after asking twice—and our coffee was never topped off.
Our server only came by three times: once to take the order, once to share irrelevant personal complaints, and finally when we had to walk up to the counter after waiting 15 minutes just to get the check.
The food itself took 35 minutes to arrive, during which time four parties who came in after us were served first. When it finally did arrive, it was cold—despite being a simple order of one sandwich, six eggs, and hash browns.
While the food was decent in flavor, the overall experience felt dismissive, as though we had been shoved in a corner and forgotten. This is not the Southern Kitchen hospitality I expected and is a disappointing reflection on the hardworking people of this community.

Jessica acted like she couldn’t hear me on the phone THEN when I called right back I was connected w an answering service. Soooo then PRICE OF MY PIZZA WENT UP BY $3.99. AND THEN it 45 minutes instead of 20. The girl that delivered was nice but the forgot my ranch after PROMISING ME SHE WATCHED THEM PUT IT IN THE BOX. Soooo I got to follow the delivery girl back to papa John’s and pu the ranch-which I was passing on the wzy home from the bar anyways! The ridiculous part is they were literally closing and locking the doors as we pulled up to pu ranch dressing from WAITING ...DOWN THE STREET ...FOR THE PIZZA TO BE DELIVERED FOR AN ECTRA 20 min and $3.99 + tip.
