I came her with my wife and daughter saw the area decided to pull the trigger knowing the area and hoped for the best. Came in to a completely empty restaurant minus maybe two tables. Ordered two drinks a appetizer for my daughter and myself and expressed to push her mozzarella sticks first because you know how kids are. Daughter ordered chocolate milk. There was solid floating white pieces when my wife opened the cup. Wife ended up sending the drink back for a apple juice. Waiter expressed that the milk was still good but I didn't want to argue about the solid floating chunks in it so exchanged it for a applejuice. 30 Minutes later my daughters meal and appetizer and mine came at the same time. This perfect because that's how I ordered it. Only my wifes drink came. I'm still waiting on my Old Fashioned. The bruschetta was amazing. Got to give credit where its due. My wifes drink was a botanical madhouse. She couldn't even drink it due to the amount of mint in the cup. The fact that they served this should make you cringe. 40 minutes now still waiting on the old fashioned and finally my wife asked where it was. 5 minutes later the drink came. The Old Fashioned they gave me was by far the worst. The drink was not stirred. Had no bitters. Just made to look good but had zero skill involved in it. The entrée Pollo alla Vodka Was great. Spinach was cooked amazing and potatoes were perfect chicken and sauce was to die for. The Chicken Parmesan was overcooked. Wife had nothing but complaints for it. Spend another 50 - 60 bucks and go to a place where you pay for what you get. Do not spend this much here on food and drink. You are wasting your money. I Feel so bad for whomever is the chef here because you could do so much better with a better team in a better restaurant.
The old fashioned pictures are for the bartender to understand what...
Read moreOur party of 25 to 30 people came to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday. The reservation was made a week in advance. 4 of us arrived at 4:30 to make sure everything was ready for our party and to discuss billing. We were assured that the check would be split between 4 of the tables. Our party came in at 5:00 PM. It took 45 minutes to get drink orders put in and delivered. Some of the drinks I had to get and deliver myself. It took repeated request to get water delivered to the tables. Ordering the meal was an ordeal as well. Menus were provided to only a small number of guest. Again, I had to hunt menus down and deliver them.
Once the order was in, it took an hour to get salads and we didn't get bread until after the salads were finished. The entrees when they finally arrived were mediocre at best. My future mother-in-law 's lasagna was so salty that it was inedible. I told the waitress about it and she did nothing about it and showed no sign of caring or concern for her guest. As it was the birthday defendant's meal, it was even more of a disappointment. For myself, I got the "beef" filled ravioli. I don't know what my ravioli were filled with, but if it was beef it resembled meat paste. Not at all tasty! Other guests had issues with their meals as well.
When it came time to settle up, the bill was presented on 1 check which was not what was agreed upon. It took a good 30 mins or more to get it all sorted out. Overall the 4 hour dining experience was dismal. The only bright spot was the time spent with family which was very nice. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. As one with experience in restaurant management, I found this place to be a textbook example of what not to do. I will...
Read moreI give Aldolino's Sunday Brunch a 3.5 star. I had come unknowingly of the buffet as I thought it was a regular sit down and order restaurant.
First off the atmosphere: It is a small Italian kitchen in the corner of a tiny old plaza. It looks a little awkward being supposedly a nicer family restaurant but it is very clean inside and you wouldn't expect anything less from a well established restaurant.Inside, several booths and tables are placed with decent seating.
The service: I want to give this place 4 stars for their excellent customer service. They are family oriented and are well accustomed to large parties but don't forget about the smaller tables either. Every table is given generous amounts of attention and even if you are waiting for a table. The waiters are polite and attentive but not to the point of pestering.
The food: The food at the Sunday Brunch buffet is decent. The meats, the seafood and the salad bar are nothing to knock your socks off. However, each dish does have its own flavor and gives variety to anyone eating here. They have a small selection of breakfast items in addition to a few salads and desserts with a very large and well plated fruit platter. Honestly, for the price I would say its a little more than what I would pay for the quality of food. Everything did taste fresh and you could see the waiters bring out food and stone gas refills to keep the food warm.
Overall: a 3.5 star experience. Food was alright but the service and atmosphere was nice. There other food selection looks very interesting and I will be coming back when it is not...
