Al Jazeera Restaurant — Restaurant in Bailey's Crossroads

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Al Jazerra, and my experience was nothing short of appalling. The service was atrocious, but what's even more disturbing is the lack of hygiene in their food preparation.

I found not one, not two, but THREE hairs in my plate! When I brought this to the owner's attention, he was dismissive and rude. He hastily removed the hairs and claimed there was nothing wrong with the food. Luckily, I had taken a picture of the plate before calling him over, which proved that I wasn't imagining things.

The owner's response to my legitimate concern was unacceptable. As a customer, I expect a certain level of quality and service, especially when it comes to food hygiene. Al Jazerra fell woefully short of these expectations.

Unless the management takes serious steps to address these issues, I would strongly advise against dining at Al Jazerra. There are plenty of other restaurants that prioritize customer satisfaction and...

I checked their menu from home and it looked pretty good so I thought I would check it out for the first time. I walked in and there was a lady cleaning, an older man just sitting behind the cash register on his phone, and another middle aged man that was talking to the cleaning lady. I made eye contact with each of them at least twice, and no one said anything to me. I went to the cashier and asked him if I could get a menu or something and he said nothing.

I am black, and I don't like using the race card - but there was a Middle Eastern family happily enjoying their meal and I couldn't even get anyone to speak to me. Customer service has never entered the building it seems. Honestly a pretty funny and bizarre experience, but of course I will...
