Aladdin's Eatery Bainbridge — Restaurant in Bainbridge Township

I recently had an extremely poor experience at this restaurant on EASTER SUNDAY at that. I placed an order online and was told it would be done within a few moments. It took me 15 minutes to arrive to the restaurant. Upon arrival I was greeted by the general manager who asked for my name and order I was there to pick up. I provided her that information and she proceeded to filll drinks for the entire restaurant before going to get my order. There were two parties in the restaurant at the time. After getting my order I mentioned to her that I was missing something out of it(salad dressing). She stated that she would go and get it. She then began cleaning counters and making additional drinks. When she did go to the back she grabbed my dressing and then waited for one party‘s food to be finished and plated before bringing my dressing back up. Once receiving my dressing I asked to Get the number to corporate and she told me she did not have the number to corporate and that I could go online. She then asked why I wanted to speak with corporate and informed me that she was the general manager. I advised her that I wanted to speak with corporate about her and the time that she took to retrieve my order and service everyone in the restaurant before me when I had already paid for my food and was the only person of color in the restaurant. She then stated that she would remove the charge for my food (in hopes of me not contacting corporate). I received a text message from the restaurant upon leaving and rated my experience negative detailing what had happened. I’ve since received a phone call from an individual stating they were the area manager. He heard me out and then told me that they were short staffed that day, and proceeded to make other excuses for the general manager(ex: she may not know the number to corporate, she may have been confused, she was short staffed). So I am taking it upon myself to spread the word on this restaurant and the negative and believed to be racist experience I had. The general manager never wore name tag and would not provide her name so I do not have that. She was however a very thin woman standing about 5’8 with blonde curly hair and glasses. Beware of where you spend your money people‼️FYI: from the front of the store where the waiting area is to the back of the store is not...

Aladdins has such great food but such poor service. I've placed a handful of carry out orders at this location and every single time I pick up my food I've had to wait anywhere from 15-20 minutes extra when I arrive. If my food (one roll and one hummus chicken plate) is going to take 45 minutes, I would appreciate it if I was told that. I placed my order at 12:15 and my food was not ready until 12:55. The pick up time was supposed to be 20 minutes from when I placed my order.. To make matters worse I got halfway home only to realize they didn't put all my hot sauce in the bag and turned around to go back and get it. As the customer I shouldn't have to double check my order for accuracy and I most certainly shouldn't have to wait double the time. The workers including the manager failed to even acknowledge how much longer I had to wait for my order. An apology would've been nice instead being made to feel like my time doesn't matter. To top off my experience I arrived at home with a cold chicken salad roll. Complete waste of time, money and patience. This is also seemingly the only location where you do not receive a complimentary extra side of pita when requested, I think to pay almost $13 for a hummus based dish, the restaurant should probably give out more than two pieces of pita bread. I'll have to purchase pita bread from Giant Eagle later just to finish my lunch...

I can't get enough of Aladdin's! Their hummus with hot sauce, yes, you must order their homemade hot sauce to mix in with your hummus, it's absolutely delicious! I'm not in to spicy foods, so trust me, it's a very mild hot sauce, and you won't regret mixing it in with your hummus, prior to dipping your veggies and pita bread in it. Consistency is key, and I must say, Aladdin's never let's me down, regardless of any location I've visited.

I also order the grilled chicken pita roll. The chicken is served hot, it's well seasoned, and the meat is so tender and juicy every time! They add to the pita, grilled onions, tomatoes, and a divine honey mustard sauce. Mmmhmmm delicious!

As for dessert, they have an incredible baklava, and so many various sweet cake options in the front of the restaurant. Your sweet senses will be on high alert! lol

I have to say, these are the only few items I ever order on the menu, so forgive me for not commenting on more, but I can't get enough of this meal. It's too good...
