Ritho Caribbean Spot — Restaurant in Bainbridge

Visited this beautiful and tasteful restaurant today and was blown away by how authentic the food was my wife and I ate ..I’m from The Bahamas 🇧🇸,I’ve been in America for 8 years, and, as an islander ,I’m always searching for Caribbean food because I’m use to the way we flavor our foods wether Jamaican,Haitian,Barbadian,Trinidadian or Bahamian ,my first choice will always be island 🏝️ herbs and spices…needless to say, Ritho Caribbean spot is by far the best I’ve tasted since coming here to America,it is absolutely delicious and flavorful to the tenth degree…my wife and I were skeptical at first but Ritho’s dishes diminished that right away after the first bite. We had curry chicken wings, steamed goat meat rice&peas macaroni and plantains with picklies and it was truly amazing…I normally cook myself being a chef of Bahamian cuisines so for me to brag about the food at Ritho,s it must be good… I highly recommend this restaurant… Rhito was very welcoming professional and hospitable…soft spoken and attentive…real gracious… Rhito gets a ten from me and I’ll be back soon and reoccurring because Rhito’s in now my new Caribbean spot… Thank you Rhito for the very delicious friendly experience.. Mr Ritho is a warm host to his spot. Promised me a hearty meal. What I recieved far exceeded my expectations. He put his "word" on it, as one sees it. Not only was this a great meal, it was one of the greatest of my lifetime. This man has owned a restaurant in Haiti. He brings a Carribean, expert knowledge of cuisine we are lucky to get to experience even once in our lives. My purchase was oxtail with red beans & rice. For a couple years I've learned about oxtail on Instagram but had never tried it. Mr Ritho's was the 1st I got to taste. It IS amazing! The portion was so large, I could only finish half. It really WAS one of the best meals of my lifetime. I'm thankful that his interpretation of the classic "Oxtail" meal was my first sample. A supercharged meal of protein, carbohydrates, & healthy fats to see me through tommorow's work. If you wish to eat corporate food at the cheapest price, go ahead. If you want world-class taste, try this spot. Guarantee, you will get more than you pay for. Next time I come to Bainbridge, I'm ordering...

Staff were delightful and engaging. Just a pleasure to be around. Our kids were able to play and dance to the music. The food was out of this world. Had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming bc we haven’t been able to find THIS authentic of Caribbean food in the area anywhere. The kids chicken plate was not your ordinary bland kids meal, it was seasoned to perfection and of great quality just like the adult entrees. The curry chicken and griot dishes were just a chefs kiss. Our waiter picked up on how much I loved the pikliz on the tostones appetizer (will never eat them any other way again now) and had it added to my griot, it was perfect. The chef even sent out oxtail gravy to pour over my beans and rice, they were already seasoned beautifully but the gravy put it over the top.
