Brittny's Seafood — Restaurant in Baker

I call & ask if they had 20 pounds of already boiled crawfish. The lady on the phone said "yes". I tell her that I will be there in about ten minutes to buy 20pounds. They lady said that she would hold them. Well, I go to pick the crawfish up, less than ten minutes after I spoke to the lady on the phone, but then, the lady tells me that she does NOT have all 20 pounds. I said, OK, how much do you have? She starts to put crawfish in a bag for me, but it was only 3 small pounds!!! I said, You can keep them ! I will just go somewhere else! I asked for 20 pounds, & I am told that she would hold them until I got there, less than ten minutes after I spoke to her! And then she is going to try & sell me a tiny 3 pound bag!!! I need 20 pounds! And then she got attitude with me, because I didn't want the 3 pounds!!!! Are you serious!!!??!!! . . .Why would I buy 3 pounds from them, & then have to go elsewhere for the other 17pounds?? What since does that make!? . . .

Bottom line: They lied & completely wasted my time & gas. . . .Don't say you have something & are willing to hold it, unless you mean it! Completely careless, rude, & inconciderate! The food taste good, but the service is on a cockroach level!!! Wat to run a business. You should lie to your faithful customers! I will be taken my business to Tonys or Tuckers.

Brittanys service & employees are rude & inconciderate! They lie to you, & then get mad at you because you didn't buy because they didn't have enough! I came for 20 pounds, but they get pissy wit me because they only had 3 pounds left which is NOT enough! Ignorant!!!

Updated Review-December 27, 2021- Had to wait an entire year to go back to Brittny's Seafood. I wasn't gonna give them a second chance after my first experience with them because they were so rude and cold to my wife and I. But my sister-in-love talked us into going back over there because the behind the counter staff had changed and since it was after Christmas this time, she assured us we would be able to get food. Everything was made to order and was absolutely delicious. We order the fried shrimp and chicken combo, and a shrimp and catfish combo and both were very well seasoned, cooked to the right consistency, so the fish was not soggy, but crispy on the outside and the meat, flakey and tender to the bite on the inside. I hope we get an encore presentation of the food the next time we are in Baton Rouge, because the cooks, the cashiers, and the greeter were friendlier and on point for this trip. I can recommend them this time around because I am sure you will leave the restaurant with your head, in other words it won't get bitten off like before!

The food was good it wasn't the best seafood I had ever had but it was good the portions were a little on the light side I thought it should have been a little bit more when I asked for a large Fish Box but it's always a good place to go the young lady at the register and also was the same person on the phone seem very tired maybe she was just tired but it's always nice to be very friendly when you're on the phone with someone and not sound all down and everything that's kind of a bummer but for the most part the place was good clean and environment is always nice to go to it wasn't a bad experience but it was just not the experience that I wanted but this was only one time that that has ever happened Brittany Seafood has always been great and good to me and I will continue to go there one bad experience does not cause me to not go...
