Flame & Skewers Mediterranean Restaurant — Restaurant in Bakersfield

We ordered F & S from Door Dash. The closest location to us was the Walmart neighborhood shopping center on Allen (we live in 7 oaks). SO disappointed!!!! My husband ordered the lamb - single protein- with 3 sides. Don’t be fooled by the picture on their website - you’ll get half as much as that and it was $16 for the plate. He ordered fries as a side. I texted the door dash driver & asked her to PLEASE confirm that the fries were in the bag since they come separately and they’ve been forgotten on at least five of our delivery orders. SURE they always give us credit but we didn’t want credit when we ordered the fries!!! The cashier confirmed they were in the bag but guess what? NONE! I drove to the F&S location and waited while they made the fries. While I was there they mixed up orders for two people who had the same name!!! The Greek salads we received look nothing like the website. They were Romain lettuce with two small pieces of tomato and six slices of cucumber. No feta cheese, no Kalamata olives, standard olive oil dressing. Not balsamic as they usually did. :( don’t know what on earth has happened to this restaurant business. There is ZERO quality control. I’ve eaten at this business since they opened downtown but I think they’ve expanded too quickly and it shows. So very sorry but I am just done with this place. Certainly is room in town for some...

The quality & taste of their food is simply wonderful. •No strange taste, everything blends perfectly.

The lunch special, (for about $10), is the best, healthiest meal in town. It's got your protein, salad, yellow rice, hummus and a giant pita bread! Ohhh & it includes a drink!

They don't saturate their food in cumin. I've honestly eaten Mediterranean food all over California & I swear this place beats out even the fancy, expensive places.

Cheers to these guys opening up more restaurants!!! I'll be going to the new one by Sam's Club now. I use to go to the one on California Ave.

I ordered 3 meals from here for dinner. 1 meal was correct, 1 meal was made wrong, and the 3rd meal was missing. It took forever for them to answer when I called. They agreed to make the missing plate. I brought back in the one made incorrectly to show that it was incorrect and have them remake it. I've been waiting for over 15 minutes already for the remake and missing item. While the food typically tastes good, they get the order wrong more often then they get it right. The ambiance is a bunch of people standing around waiting for their orders and taking things back because items are missing...
