Some of, if not the best Chinese food I've ever had. Quality of food was consistently great across all dishes. Fresh ingredients. Will be returning if I'm in the area again. Food was served quickly. Leading with potstickers, followed by wonton soup about the same time we finished the potstickers, and the vegetable fried rice arrived shortly after we finished our soup. The Mongolian Beef and Chow Mein came shortly after, so there was little time waiting between dishes. The tea was delightful, some of the best tea I've ever had. It was served loose-leaf in the tea kettle, so removing the sachet to halt steeping is impossible. The pot stickers were great, especially with the brown sauce and some of the chili oil (if you like spice). The broth of the wonton soup was rich, but light and not overpowering. The bok choy in the soup was not wilted at all, very nice and fresh. The snow peas were crisp and not stringy. The vegetable fried rice was excellent, made with fresh veggies and with a perfect amount of seasoning and char. Onions in the Mongolian Beef were crunchy and not limp or chewy. The sauce for the Mongolian Beef was great. Service was good. They don't hound you, but they watch tables. They brought us boxes and the bill without requesting it shortly after we finished eating.

What a nightmare. Went to this place because it had 4.4 stars. After The experience however, tells me Bakersfield residents don't know much about restaurants. I've heard this town has good food but everything I experience here is a crappy version of something I've experienced before.

It's been almost 24 hours since I ate and I still feel sick from that horrible food. My friend who was with me is still ill as well. The appetizers looked cheap & store-bought, the main course wasn't bad, but I don't trust the food because of how sick I am from It.

Three people working there and all they did was sit on their phones when they could have cleaned ...because the place was disgusting. My view while eating was of the front door covered and slimy handprints. We got there right when they opened so this was not mess of the day. It looked like weeks of fingerprints. Walking in, it smelled like a sewer, but I usually let that go because often it's not the fault of the restaurant when you live in a dry climate with a lack of water. The smell backs up through the drain. I got used to it pretty quickly so I thought okay I'll deal with this. My friend and I were hungry and we had other things to do after eating. Then the server brought 'ketchup sauce' as the dipping sauce with the crab rangoon & egg rolls... Not even quality ketchup, no name ketchup. Who serves ketchup with Chinese food at a Chinese restaurant? Is this like a Bakersfield thing? Disgusting. I asked for plum sauce and I was given something that was brown and Sandy and definitely not plum sauce.

The tables were sticky as well as the couch seating we were sitting on. I am so nauseated that I ate in such a filthy establishment. I'm blown away that they have a pass ... Actually... I highly doubt that they do.

I will never go in here again and will warn my friends about the place. It looks like the last time they cleaned it was 1985. Seriously disgusting.

Can't wait till I get this disgusting feeling out of my stomach.

I also took a shower the minute I...

Wow. So I used to like this place. I always felt like they were wonderfully rude. I figured it was a cultural thing. But wow I see so many reviews of how they demanded a tip. It happened to me. I'm the wrong one. I think they figured that out. Anyway the food is OK. I mean the lady that serves stinks like cigarettes always. The waiter literally brought me soda and boxes that's it. Is the water even potable? I stopped in spur of the moment with my wife. I had exact change. So I didn't tip. Mind you I've been there with my entire family of 7 several times eand we leave a generous tip. Now I thought nothing of it. The waiter comes up and says you don't tip? Where's the tip? I was like what? Then the stinky cigarette lady, who smokes inside the restaurant by the way against California health code, yells at me across the restaurant in front of other customers "its for the service this how he makes his money!" So I guess it's my responsibility to provide a livable wage to their employees not the employers. How embarrassing for them. Anyway they should be ashamed of themselves. Rude & disrespectful. I CAN NOT trust then with my food. I will never go back again. Also they were openly discussing about selling the restaurant for $3.25M but yet were so demanding of a tip on a simple $30dinner for two ppl. Honestly worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I felt it alot of it was based on my race. We should not support a business that treats customers that way. They forgot that we shouldn't be treated as customers but as guests. Nasty bathrooms. Nasty silverware. Nasty tables. Nasty service. So...

Extremely disappointed with this place. First time here and most definitely the last. From moment we got there service was very delayed. It took a really long time to have someone get our order. We finally get it taken and my water never came. We get the apps, my soup and bbq pork. Thats it. The thin gentleman and the older short woman came to our table a few times to check on us but food was not coming we asked her for my water once again. Finally the food comes and still no chop sticks or my water. We finally ask her for the water and chop sticks. At this we packed it up and called it a night. When asked us how wr liked it. I told her it was good but i just wished it didnt take so long and she said everything was quick . i told her no it wasnt we had to eat just bbq pork and she got so upset that she said bbq pork was an appetizer. Lol i let it be and as we paid the bill and at thia point no tip, she followed us to door, insulted us calling us rude and telling us we are cheap lol. At this point i turned and told her how unprofessional and outlined all that took place and she said Dont come back. Horrific experience. Never have I witnessed or engaged in such a comical yet disrespectful experience. Im a huge believer in reviews because they shed light on the customers experience and allows for better experiences in the future. I have given up to 30.00 tips when we have awsome experiences. This one did NOT...
