El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Bakersfield

Every time I come here through the drive-through, I order the same thing and they give me such a hassle with repeating it over three times only to get to the window in my order is wrong. The drinks are gross very watery and diluted. Never consistent if you ask for a bag of chips on the side, they will take the chips from your combo and put it in the bag and still charge you two dollars for it and there’s no extra chips in there, the girl at the window always gets my order wrong. They’re very stingy with the extra chips that they charge as if they come out of her paycheck or she hast to make extra ones herself. Do not come to this location. They are very lazy workers and do not care about the quality of their service whatsoever , it sucks because it’s the closest one to me and it’s my favorite place to eat but now I have to drive farther just to grab some tacos because this one is inconsistent in constantly providing low service to me. El Pollo Loco is my absolute favorite but I've had enough of this particular location and this is why I'm giving 3 stars. This is the 3rd time in a row that I order several Pollo Bowls and they give me dark meat or de-boned shredded chicken from the previous day. When I order a Pollo Bowl I expect to see fresh nicely diced chopped chicken breast. Very disappointed to say the least, also in the taste. I can taste the difference in the dark chicken and it is definitely not what I was looking forward to. I removed the so called chopped chicken breast from my bowl and replaced it with a chicken breast that I had ordered. I was frustrated at this point and did not want to return to the store for them just to tell me that they had ran out of chopped chicken breast, like they've told me before. Our cashier was a young lady that had a disingenuous attitude, she pestered me and my parents and demanded us to wash our hands since we were forced to touch a dirty self order screen. I got mad but did not let it get to me, instead I started my own inspection and saw there restrooms were a mess, showing how incompetent they are at there job, the girl had braces and was refusing to get her hands dirty, how irritating, having the customer be forced to do the cashiers incomplete work. The entire establishment is a mess having grease and torn seats, showing they don't clean the cushions daily, proving why there deteriorating. I don't recommend at all coming here, until an official inspector comes to put some hard changes this restaurant is a red flag.
