Read moreWe were just passing through tonight and the lady at Camping World recommended Molly J''s as a solid neighborhood cafe within walking distance. This is a good example of not judging a book by its cover - the outside of the restaurant didn't bode super well as it seemed non-descript and a bit rundown. However, the inside was very clean and airy (huge, soaring ceiling) and the service was friendly, professional and immediate. The food exceeded our expectations, with really good flavor, freshness and portions. The dinners come with an entree, soup or salad, rice or potato, vegetable and a choice of bread. We both got the cornbread and it was delicious (and huge). It was a good value for the amount of food, and we left stuffed. (I got the "senior dinner" which comes with all the same things as the regular dinner, just a slightly smaller entree portion size. It was still more than enough for me, and was a few dollars cheaper). We were too full to try any of their pies, which is a shame because they looked very good too. A great, local...
Read moreThis was my first time eating at this place and we didn't even get to the eating part. This was the worst restaurant me and my family have ever been to. The man that was the host and seating everyone down was super rude to us. He took our name down and then proceeded to sit everyone that was there after us. Then after we confronted him, he caught a attitude and asked for a name from us even though we just gave him our name. Then after we got seated we were not given menus and everyone that had been seated after us had menus and drinks. We had to flag a waiter down to get menus and to order drinks. The waiter tried to apologize for the horrible service that the restaurant had provided but me and my family decided to leave. This facility needs to get some customer service training because this ain't it! Thank you for making us feel...
