Rusty's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I usually love going to Rusty's however this time we celebrated my 8-year-old's birthday party there and of course the pizza the chicken and the wedges were good however no one ever told us during the reservation process or the checking in process that there was a limit on beer pitchers that could be purchased for our party... apparently for a party of 40 the limit was 3 pitchers per X amount of people (sorry I tuned out at this point) so we over did our limit with that being said I won't go there again... Not to mention I was not told that there coin machine didn't work 😳😳😳😳😳 I mean it was a "Birthday Party" Reservation... My son got a total of $5 in quarters from the register & that was it. No other kid was able to get quarters... We made the best of it, but won't...

usually a good experience, maybe a bad night Friday 12/01/23. the oil our chicken and wedges were cooked in was old or burnt. giving the food a horrible taste. the worker even commented I thought it smelled funny. really. I was given a refund and still supported rustys just at a different location niles. which was 💯%

in my review I stated I did get a refund and went to niles . So yes I did talk to the manager obviously. Why would I want it remade if it would be cooked in same oil. maybe the owner should apologize rather than coming off hostile. we leave reviews for a reason . Great wings. Ok potato wedges. Employees were super polite and gracious to the customers. But their “now hiring” sign was in close proximity to the sign pictured below, so I have no choice but to believe that this is just another business (like the thousands of others doing the same thing) blaming the government for their inability to exploit workers with sub-livable pay or using the combination of signs to gaslight employees into believing that they are trying to get them help despite not actually hiring. I personally believe the latter as I know several people who have applied without being contacted for this particular location.
