I had not eaten at a Taco Nazo for many years, but when my friend's mom brought home some fish tacos from a Taco Nazo location near Compton, I was a fan once again. A few weeks later I went to my local Taco Nazo in BP craving to get the same tacos I had a couple of weeks before ONLY to get the same tacos that made me stop going to Taco Nazo many years ago. The tacos were smaller than and not as fresh as the ones from the other Taco Nazo. And the service was neutral, but the lady taking the plates to the tables was being rude when I was at the salsa bar (which is the one thing I give them credit for, love the yellow chiles and onions) and at first I thought she was a rude customer when she aggressively cut me off at the salsa bar, grabbed a salsa bottle super aggressive and then tossed it with anger causing it to tip over, and still had the audacity to maddog me after I picked up the salsa and looked at her like 'what's wrong with you?' I, then, realized she worked there...yikes! I feel bad that on that day it seemed like she was disliking doing her job, but taking it out like that demonstrates her lack of emotional regulation. I have no interest in going back. The plus: it's in a good location, with plenty of free parking, the salsa/condiment bar (minus the aggressive vibes from the employee) and the 'order line' moved quickly even though it was getting busy.
Con: the quality of the fish tacos (especially for the price) was lacking compared to another location. The place is small and tight. There's no place for customers to wait for take-out orders meaning you'll either have to sit on a table or stand in the way of everyone coming and going. And the employees are not concern with...
Read moreThe food isn't the best, but it's good. **The customer service is a whole different situation. The lady charging was nice and polite. The two women in the kitchen were really rude. My 12 yr old daughter even noticed it, which is a shame that a child experiences rudeness from grown women. I'm half cuban, but I love anything mexican, especially food. As soon as we walked in, I saw the two women look at me, so I said, " buenas tarde." I got no answer. My 12 yr old said to me, "Rude." I started packing the salsa, and the bottles were dirty on the outside, so I got salsa all over my hand. I asked the older lady for Napkins to clean my hand. She ignored me again. So now I'm getting upset because it was all unnecessary. So I asked the woman with the tattoos and she gave them to me, but gave me a dirty look too. WTH! If your salsa bottles were clean in the first place, I wouldn't have had to bother you. NOT a welcoming environment. This was my second visit to this particular Taco Nazo. Well, it was certainly the Last. I don't care if your food is good. If your customer service sucks or is non-existent, then you can't have my business. I will gladly give my money to a better...
Read moreToday I decided to stop by El Taco Nazo while working nearby, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff—everyone had a smile and made me feel genuinely welcome.
The cashier was extremely helpful and took the time to explain the menu without any hesitation. I ended up ordering two shrimp tacos and two fish tacos. While both were delicious, the fish tacos truly stood out with their bold, flavorful taste.
Once your food is ready, they call you up with a smile, thank you sincerely, and wish you well—something that really stood out and added to the great experience.
The restaurant itself is very clean, respectful, and professional. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving El Taco Nazo a try. And whatever you do, don’t miss out on the fish tacos—you won’t regret it!
Food was not served to me in this matter. This is from...
