Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Baldwin

Was visiting my family and wanted to stop at Rita’s they had the blinds up in the lights on I parked my vehicle walk closer to the establishment and then young lady pulled the blinds down. I noticed this on the sign the hours however I thought it was just very rude that the young lady did not just go to the window and explain that the store was closed and I came to early for Rita’s. I called the rita and the owner was actually at the location and he stated that he really didn’t care that the young lady close all the blinds and not came to the window and actually told me personally that the hours of operations. We visited this Rita’s yesterday to celebrate the end of the school year. As we approached the window with our masks on we were greeted by a worker not wearing a mask. When questioned she replied it was an individual health decision. There were 8 employees and only 3 had masks on. If you are concerned about safety and covid you should NOT visit this Rita’s.
