This place has some truly delicious ice cream! I am nearly never in the area. But, I'm sure this place is a classic for the Baldwin/Brentwood/Whitehall community. The vibe it gives is like one of those old school ice cream shops. Local, family owned, and amazing. I tried the peanut butter milkshake. Super simple, but very good. The number one greatest thing about this place is probably the value. You get a ginormous shake for under $5. And, it was far larger than I have tried in nearly any other place. This sort of value is just incredible. The flavor is also quite good. I thought it was a little vanilla-y for a peanut butter shake, but still great. You can taste it's homemade, not just Hershey's or some other brand. They also have numerous other standard flavor (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and more). They even have frozen yogurt, no sugar added flavors, sundaes, and more. I'll have to try out some of the more unique flavors sometime; my review would probably be 5 stars by the time I do that. They do close early though (but they are also open year round. Yes, even in the winter). Would love to come back.

Sugar and Spice is one of my favorite neighborhood ice cream shops. I especially like that they have non-dairy options. I got the strawberry swirl and it was excellent. I was very pleased with the service here. The staff was extra friendly and very accommodating. The service was fast and accurate. The atmosphere was very welcoming and enjoyable. You would definitely like it here. I can’t recommend this location highly enough. I would definitely come back here for the great service and nostalgic atmosphere. You certainly will not be disappointed with this wonderful establishment. Definitely stop by if you are in the neighborhood. I definitely will.

I know I’ve driven past this place dozens of times over the years. So glad I stopped today. The ice cream is delicious- rich, creamy and flavorful! They had plenty fun flavors. I tried Salted Caramel and Don’t Snicker at Me (and as always I top my treats off with whipped cream). I expected a little more chunks in the Snickers but it was still good. The Salted Caramel was perfect.

I decided I wanted some soft serve and stopped by. They had a large list on the exterior wall with a lot of flavors, but I found out the hard way that the list is just the manufacturer's flavor list, so it's misleading that they have that list up because I wanted a flavor they didn't have. Apparently, they have a smaller list of actual available flavors at the order window, but I felt a bit rushed because I had to choose a different flavor immediately due to people waiting behind me. I asked the employee about specific flavors like creme de menthe, and they weren't very helpful because they said they never tasted any of the flavors and had no idea what the unusual ones were. I understand that you can't taste them all but is there not any type of description you can go off of from the manufacturer or something? Personally, I was pretty disappointed by this experience. Maybe it would have been better if I hadn't ordered soft serve. I did eventually order cheesecake soft serve, but it was a bit lackluster...

Great place to get a cool treat. My kids love to go inside and check out all the cool ice cream/sodapop decorations while enjoying theyre ice cream. Also, they make the best ice cream cakes. So, forget DQ. These bad boys have actual cake in them and you can either pick one from the cooler inside the shop, or you can have one made to order. Not to mention the cupcakes are awesome too! For those of you dog lovers, they offer specialty ice cream treats made just for your furry family members as well. If candy making is your thing, you absolutely must go into their candy shop. They also take first prize for their chocolate melts (used for covering strawberries and other stuff.) They are so good, u can eat them straight from the bag. No nasty waxy taste like other ones. Did i mention they sell all kinds of pretty sprinkles too!...
