El Rodeo — Restaurant in Ball

Oh boy! This is a bit of a long review, sorry. My birthday was a few days ago and we had plans for dinner elsewhere but plans fell through, so we decided that we would go out last night for some Mexican food, my favorite! We've eaten here once before and it was fine, but one of those places you think "eh, I could do without ever going there again". Back to last night... I'm not sure what the server's issue was, but I have never been so disrespected in my life. She was very short with me when I ordered my food, but I thought maybe she was just busy and overwhelmed. By the way, she acted fine with my husband. Well then the food comes and she puts my plate down so AGGRESIVELY that the sauce completely sloshes off the plate and on to MY LAP! She grabs a napkin and proceeds to wipe the table, putting the sauce that was on the table ONTO MY LAP! I got a very insincere apology, so I just say that I've got it and grab more napkins. I asked for some diced tomato and was given a grunt of some sort. By this time, my husband is readying himself for me to have some kind of fit, but I somehow keep my cool. When she comes back, I apologize TO HER for asking for so much but could I please get some shredded cheese. She walks away, no response. When she returns with the cheese, she gives it to my husband and very sweetly says, "here's the cheese for you tacos". I asked for it, it was for MY FOOD. Now we are witnessing pure, intentional disrespect. We don't live in the area, we don't even live in the state, just here temporarily for work, so I don't know what I could have done to make this woman treat me this way. Maybe I just have "that face". Anyway, we eat our food, which again was "fine", and when the bill comes my husband is expecting some kind of discount or another apology, something? Nope. I get that accidents happen, but this was beyond that. I did not ask to speak to management or ask for a discounted meal, we just paid the bill and left. I believe there would have been no remorse for her actions and no support from management; maybe SHE was management, IDK. Anyway, if you value your clothes, skin, and you value respect this is not the place...

My wife and I dine here all the time. This is the only place that we Mexican. The food is delicious and seasoned just right. Everything that my wife and I order is awesome. The kitchen staff knows how to do it RIGHT!!!!!! From the minute we walk through the door, we are greeted by the host and escorted to our table. Once we are seated, our waiter / waitress come and start taking excellent care of us. From the time we walk through the door to the end of our meal the entire staff goes out of their way to make sure we are taking care of. I want to say thank you to the owners / managers!! Thank you for having the right people in working for you!!! Thank you for your hospitality !!!! I strongly recommend that anyone who has not been here to go and you will not be...

Going in the place is very clean and inviting. We are promptly seated and our drinks are served ordered enchiladas with white cheese (had never heard of this )beans and a taco . Wife ordered enchiladas with cheese and a chili relleno. Our order comes and the beans are barely warm ,the enchiladas had no chili in or on them .They were just flour tortillas with seasoned hamburger meat inside. The cheese was poured over them to the extreme. I am a very picky eater the wife is not. The food was so salty she could net eat but half of one enchilada some of the beans .The relleno she left most of and did eat my Taco. I managed to get nearly all of my meal down (I was starving though) Never have I eaten Mexican food and there be no chili of some kind on...
