Cinco De Mayo Taqueria — Restaurant in Baltimore

At 1 pm, we called to place an order. We were then transferred 3 times before someone was able to take the order. It was for delivery, but they tried to hang up before getting the address. Once we placed an order, we were told it would be 45 minutes. It was a sizable order, so at 2, we weren't concerned, but at 2:20, decided to call to check on the order. We were once again transferred to three or four people before the person put us on "hold", which was actually to place the phone on the counter for the next ten minutes. Still no update. So we hung up and called back. They hadnt replaced the receiver. After ten more mintues, we called and were told "it's on the way". After 30 minutes, we called and were told that it's on the truck, heading to Timonium, the exact opposite direction of our house, and twenty minutes further (we live within 12 minutes). So it's been 2 hours, our food is going a half an hour out of the way before arriving, cold, and there's no explanation, no apology, no accountability for poor service all the way around. Fast forward to actual delivery and... oh wait, no, it has now been three hours and still no delivery. I jusy called them back and now was told that they did not want to take the delivery. They could have said as muchany one of the multiple times we called. When I asked to speak to owner, i was told they don't know who that is. To recap, in 3 hours, we were promised multiple times of an emminent delivery, and eventually told they would not take the delivery. I also overheard words and phrases in spanish referring to me as an obscenity, because geez i actually wanted food that I had ordered to be delivered, and no apology for any of their horrendous service...

$80 for 8 tacos 2 menudos and 2 large horchatas with no ice. I wanted 2 orders of tripe and 2 orders of lengua tacos. I end up with 6 lengua tacos and 2 tripe tacos . Soup, lengua, and horchata was bland. Soup tasted like a lot of water was added so there was no flavor and a little bit of tripe. Horchata tasted like milk. No rice or spices could be detected from the flavor. I've had better at a Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles.I only liked the tripe taco it was actually very delicious. I Only went there because la taqueria la cabana was closed. They have better food homemade horchata and way more food...

Best cemita I’ve had in Baltimore by a MILE. Bread is perfect and overflowing with all the good stuff. Tamales were clearly exposed to some sort of radiation or the corn was grown with miracle grow as they’re gigantic 😀. Basically one tamale is the size of two normal ones. Hole in the wall place but man oh man they know what they’re doing. Can’t wait to try more...
