RUDE event venue manager or whatever she called herself. We were here for the Amazing Acro-Cats show. Cute show and we enjoyed it. This review is about the venue. Before the show started, we were frustrated that people were complaining about not being able to see, and getting their seats moved (like I get it, but sometimes that’s how things go, right?) People were getting moved into seats they didn’t pay for, and then were blocking our view. I decided to say something to the girls who were seating people. As soon as I started sharing my concern, the lady who then told me she was the venue manager or creative director or something that she kept throwing around, began yelling at me about how I could just have tapped her and asked for new seats; I didn’t have to “come at her” like this. I was completely taken aback and again just said that now my daughter couldn’t really see. She said “do you want to complain or do you want different seats?” So she came over and told us we could move up two rows. When I expressed concern that we were going to be taking someone else’s seat, because everywhere said it was completely sold out; she again got nasty with me about how SHE is the one in charge, and practically yelling at me about “do you want to move or not!?!?” We moved and my family was like “what just happened?!” In addition to all of this, the cost of the tickets included a program, but they would only give us one per family not everyone got one. And, we paid “extra” for the cat meet and greet, but everyone got to do it anyway. Should have gotten the cheap tickets- seats were on risers and we would have been able to see; and we still would have gotten to see the...

This was my family's first time at Creative Alliance and we loved it. The area is nice and the venue was awesome. We went to see Chelsea Green and The Green Project and what an experience it was. 🤩🤩 If you haven't had the pleasure to see The Green Project please treat yourself! She is #BlackGirlMagic personified! 😍😍 She is extremely personable & she AND her band are ridiculously talented! I mean WOW! You can tell how much they all enjoy music and playing together. Simply one of a kind! Creative Alliance provided an intimate venue space that was just perfect for the show. And you even get to view their 2 galleries during intermission where they were displaying artwork from teens in Baltimore. An extra special kudos to the staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. And the restrooms were clean. My Husband also said his cocktail and freshly popped popcorn was excellent too. Definitely give this venue a try, they have a really cool upcoming calendar. We will definitely continue to support and tell our...

Staff was extremely rude upon arrival. We arrived a few minutes before our candlelight concert was set to start. We were immediately rushed in saying “the show is going to start, hurry up!” repeatedly. All we were trying to do was go to the restroom before the concert began, and we were told we weren’t going to be able to be let in the show and we needed to “hurry up”. They also assumed we were trying to get drinks and said “the bar was open for a hour before the show go in the theater”. Meanwhile the show didn’t start for another 10 minutes. Everyone was also yelled at for taking pictures of the stage when the musicians hadn’t even come out on stage yet. Totally turned us off before the experience even began. Staff needs to do better, and act professionally. I understand that work can be frustrating but you don’t need to take it out on paying customers just trying to enjoy the event. Probably won’t be coming back to this...

A Baltimore treasure! This great 250-seat venue in Highlandtown brings some of the best talent from all over the world to the stage in Baltimore. I've seen comedy shows, African bands, jazz, dance bands, a Mexican rock band, tribute shows, theatrical performances, and they even host very popular burlesque shows. I like that every seat in the house is good. Even the back row is a great view. The sound and lighting are first rate and the staff is really nice and helpful. They do a lot of community outreach and offer various classes for kids as well as feature local artists in the gallery. I highly recommend their annual Charm City Django Jazz Fest in late February.

Baltimore's hidden gem. See great things for this community asset. It has come soooo far since their Fells Point days. They offer residence artists, studios, galleries, local and national entertainment, arts and dance studios, satellite location across the street for Space and meeting room rentals and community programs. New management and staffing is exciting. The whole place is pulsing with new hopes and excitement. Love this place. They recently lost one of their dedicated volunteers... Jack...if he had a choice, he would still be here, checking in tickets at the shows. Everyone knew Jack.
