The dog owners don't follow the POSTED RULES. I have a white rednose pitbull who is resource protective i.e. food, toys, treats, etc. I ALWAYS take my dog around the fence so he can smell and greet the other dogs before being let loose in the park and scope out to see if any toys are left on the ground and if there are I kindly ask other pet owners to pick them up and put them away and they usually oblige my requests. However the past 3 times I went there I had to repeatedly remind a few owners not to throw balls or anything that makes one dog feel like he is getting individual attention. This woman told me that those rules printed literally on every entrance were not accurate and are more like "guidelines." So I feel no remorse that her dog got hurt. The rules are in place to make sure both pets and their owners are safe and have a good time. If you follow the rules, it is an amazing place with lovely and loving doggies with amazing owners who are sharing, and caring. Please follow the rules that were put in place by people that know better than you how dogs think and act. Follow me at...
Read moreThe park is amazing I have only had one bad interaction and that was today. It wasn’t the parks fault it was the owner of 2 pit bulls. I love put bulls to death but at the same time if they or any dog in that matter are not good around other dogs DO NOT BRING THEM TO A DOG PARK!!!!! this white pitbull in the picture violently attacked and latched on to my dogs neck then when I put my dog outside the gate after getting my dog out of its jaws he immediately went after another dog. Let me clarify something, my dog is a fully trained service dog… I put him into a lay whenever another dog comes in because I know most fights happen at a gate. I let the other dog come up to mine and sniff my dog before I free him. As soon as my dog went to sniff the pit he immediately attacked. If you see these dogs at the park please use caution he...
Read moreLocated in a stekchy neighborhood, this dog park is very small. It still gets five stars because of the huge area it’s located in and which is leash friendly. The walking trails I believe are the best that can be found in and around the Baltimore area. Make sure to keep all your belongings properly hidden or with you and not in your parked vehicle, we did witness broken glasses on the curbside which signals vandalism. The swimming pool is packed on the weekends but is still a very near and maintained area. Love this place, if you have a pooch that needs to vent off some energy or loves to walk on leash make sure to visit this place, you won’t be...
