HeyDaddy’s — Restaurant in Baltimore

Unfortunately I arrived to pickup a Grubhub order which states that it had been "confirmed" shortly before I arrived (closer to 9p.m.) I went to complete the order specifically because of the confirmation.

However when I arrived I was told that they didn't have any Grubhub orders and they hadn't confirmed anything by the young lady sweeping the front.

I asked her was she the only in there because after doing over 1000 Grubhub deliveries, I know that the confirmation is usually done directly by restaurants. If that was the case, I'd prefer an honest response about not being able to complete the order.

I hope that in the future they turn off online ordering sooner or cancel orders that come in too late because I as the driver wasted time being there and I am sure that the customer is even more disappointed.

As a first encounter I am unsure of if would want to return as a driver and I was disappointed because I am always looking for new Caribbean spots to frequent and tell people about.

On the plus side, the atmosphere of the store was nice with music and the store was clean.

So it’s 1:24am and I just fell in love with this restaurant I mean from the amazing customer service with then reaching out to let me know something I had ordered they had ran out of so did I want to substitute and it was exactly what I had wanted originally the pepper steak instead of the shrimp curry because I got the combination with the oxtails lol and I also got to substitute my seafood salad out for macaroni and cheese for my other combination order and then the food itself looked delicious smelled delicious and and tasted AMAZING and I had joked to my husband that I could smell the food they the phone cause I was at worked and was ordering us something for dinner and sent it home 😅 you guys outdid yourselves I also ordered the strawberry crunch cake and 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 can I say I love you lol thank you to all the cashiers the cooks the the owners and everyone in between a JOB WELL DONE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 more stars cause I wanna...
