Ladies and gentlemen we have a WINNER! Arguably one of the best Popeye's restaurant locations in the entire State of Maryland! Located at Orleans and Highland Avenue the customer service was OUTSTANDING! Not just okay...not just great, but absolutely OUTSTANDING!😃 I was greeted with a warm smile and polite conversation. They paid attention to detail with my order, and I received my food quicker than McDonald's (in person or drive-through) and I'm sure you all know that's very fast. In addition to that, the interior Ambiance is very warm and inviting. It's a wonderful family setting to have a family time dinner outing. All the employees get along very well, there was also plenty of laughter and a very calming atmosphere inside this location. I can't say enough about the staff...and, my hat's off to the Management there! I also want to give a very warm thank you and a SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT to one of their employees her name was DESTINY. She was a BEAUTIFUL shining star. On the day I visited that location she was on point, and very polite, and gregarious. Her KINDNESS WAS SOOOO WARM. I trulyI enjoyed our conversation and I watched her interaction with the other employees. Miss DESTINY was just the best. I had a wonderful time at this location something totally unexpected, but I appreciated it. Especially after a long hard day at work. Congratulations Popeyes...you are a Class Act and that includes all of the staff of that location on All Shifts. YOU ARE ALL ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. I...
Read moreAs many who have enjoyed Popeyes over the years, especially since it went national (and international when you include military installations overseas), the consistency in flavor, particularly with spicy, is about as random as the amount of rain one gets from any storm. Gone are those days when some semblance of replication of a recipe in s an expectation. This location in Highlandtown is one of the few where it is almost there...almost. Though no where near what it was when Popeyes WAS Popeyes, it's by far better than many I've visited. It would b great to find one which doesn't scrimp on the spices. This location had a couple of very obvious problems. The first concerns the lighting in the dining area. It is consistently "lights out" save the sunlight filtering through the windows. It lends a noticeably drab, dank, and uninviting appeal to dine in. Another issue is the lack of management in keeping the marquee current. If you advertise a special, one which has gone on for a time, and it has since ended, then you are remiss in your aversion of customers who come in, hours after you've opened, expecting to order what you display...
Read moreI ordered over the app. When I got to the window to check my order, I was missing some things and some of my sauces so when I asked the person at the window, could I have my missing items and my sauces I was told I had to wait for her to check the camera so to pull over I pulled over to the side got out of my car and went into the store after waiting in my car for almost 20 minutes and no one came out and was told again I have to wait for her to check the cameras just for her to continue helping other customers and not check the cameras. She finally eventually gave me my missing items and sauces, but never spoke to me just threw them on the counter, when I asked the other gentleman that was working with he’s a manager and he said yes he is but she is one. Also they are rude. They will not speak to you and they are racist. As like a black person is asking them anything they huff and puff I have already reported them to corporate twice so this will be my last time going to that Popeyes, don’t work in customer service industry. If you’re not gonna have good customer service and I will also be reporting them to the Better...
