Santa Maria's Carry Out — Restaurant in Baltimore

I’ve been ordering from this place for a few years. Past experiences always good. That’s when I went into the restaurant to order in person. I’ve ordered through DoorDash and Uber eats because I am longer In the area. The few times I’ve ordered this year has been questioning. I always place In the instructions not to put onions on my subs due to me being allergic. Twice they sent subs with onions. Today I ordered however I called the restaurant after the order was placed through Uber eats to speak with some one to tell them please not to add onions. I called 4 times. Someone picked up the phone and slammed it back down. When I finally got through the young lady that answered the phone was extremely rude. Hi told her I would as just trying to make sure the cook didn’t add onions. She said that whatever I post on Uber eats that’s what I’ll receive. Anyway the food arrived. It was onions on it. I also asked for a coke with my order No Coke- tea. They also added extra sauce in the bag. Lol it was domino’s hot Buffalo sauce, garlic sauce and marinara sauce for pizza. ( why did they even send that? And it’s from Domino’s

I wish I could have not been able to give this place a star because what I ordered didn’t even arrive to my address I ordered online and when my food got here I called back to let them know that I didn’t receive everything that I ordered the guy is going to tell me that I couldn’t get a refund I have to take it up with Door Dash why I don’t know they didn’t prepare my food Santa Maria’s did let alone I live over East and he asked did I want to come get the rest of my food 🤦‍♀️🤔 so basically I’m out of my money for food I didn’t even receive I will never order from this place again I’m so disappointed with their service and let alone they are not going to refund me at all I shouldn’t have to go through the delivery service to get my refund because they didn’t prepare my meal yes they got paid for their service for delivery but they surely didn’t prepare my food the place of business should be refunding...

You might wait for a long time for your food, but whenever you get it it’s HOT and fresh. This restaurant isn’t a microwave restaurant everything is made from scratch the even the pizza dough is hand tossed. I would like to also state PLEASE don’t get your sub roll toasted, the sub rolls are absolutely PERFECT and soft and made FRESH, toasting these sub rolls is like spitting in God’s face 😩 Dino (the owner) has a very interesting leadership style but he’s courteous and friendly to anyone that walks through the doors… Oh and it’s perfect late night spot to hit after a long night of clubbing.
