The park has some good open space but it's all downhill, like retention ponds, so it can get pretty muddy after rain. The playground equipment is great for kids 1-8 and is in pretty good repair. For small kids there are 2 toddler swings, some wheels for turning (1 with beads inside), and a small set of slides. For older kids there's a larger set of slides, various climbing ladders/poles, and 2 standard swings. It only lacks monkey bars. The only downside to the playground is water retention, especially on the North (Roberts St) side, where a large puddle can form and stay a long time after rain. It's possible to play on the playground and avoid the puddle... but if your kid loves puddles and you don't want them wet I'd suggest you find...
